Yep, I think that's the answer to that question. I remember answering it, too. :)

What about companies that say you don't get mileage because it should be done as part of your normal shop? Couldn't you just be going to the shops rather than driving to town or wherever to do a ms?

Technically you should have business insurance if you are working, regardless of if you are doing normal shopping too. Some people don't bother and would just say they were just going to the shops in the event of an accident.

The risk is if you have a serious accident where the car is undriveable and is removed to a pound by the insurance company. If there is MS paperwork found in the car which shows you were going to a job, there is a risk they will not cover your claim. I know there is a very slim chance that this would happen to you, but if business cover is free or inexpensive, it's not worth taking the risk.

I have actually been in an accident on the way back from MS work, but it was just a minor bump from behind. I stopped to give way at a roundabout but the lass behind didn't noticed the traffic had stopped and drove straight into my car!
Here I go again on my own....

It wasn't until I followed your link that I realised I'm signed up with them already. Never heard anything from them.

Oh well, maybe they just haven't had assignments in my area. Good to hear that Welshy's done jobs for them. :)
