Hiya Folks,
I've just done my first mystery shop for Retail Eyes it was a pub one-I ordered my food and drinks together to ensure I got a receipt, the barmaid didn't give me one so I aksed for one, which I think made me look like a mystery shopper! The barmaid gave me one however it has 0.00 on!!! Well I didn't want to go back and say oh this receipt doesn't have the items/price on as I thought it would draw attention to me.
However Im now concered that retail eyes will not pay me.

I always make a point of asking for a VAT receipt if the person serving me is not up to what I would call my standard. Never need it but do it because it will !!!!!! them off.
Always ask for a receipt. It shows you are getting what you paid for and what you paid for goes in the till.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

I think you'll be OK, for 2 reasons
1. The main reason you get a receipt is to prove you've been there. RE don't seem to care too much how much is on the receipt. (As I said earlier, I normally get a receipt for the food but don't bother for the drink, and they've always paid up!)
2. It's useful feedback in itself that you asked for a receipt and were not given the correct receipt. Some training issues there! (Lots of peeps ask for a receipt, btw, so don't worry. I always say it's so I can reclaim my expenses from my employer - 99%* true but it makes me sound like a travelling salesperson!)
*99% true as you are actually self-employed.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

I had a lovely pub MS today, and have 3 rubbishy ones booked for next week, and nothing after that!
I really really hope they'll update their sites tomorrow! And I'd like to hear from all these other companies I'm supposedly registered with...
Good luck everyone...0 -
Which reminds me: I signed up with ABA as well (on another MSErs recommendation), but every time I check their site, there's nothing available. Nothing. Anywhere in the UK. Is it just me?0

I did my first mystery shop this weekend.... took ages perusing over the questionnaire, making sure I was fully prepared for meal and drinks.. to find a student bar that didn't serve food but did allow you to buy kebabs from next door and bring them in so you could still watch the footy!!
