You don't need a reciept for the casino ones. There is nothing in the brief to say you must ask for one.

With Retail Eyes I pay by cash for the drinks and dont get a receipt then I pay by card for the meal. I explain this to RE when I submit my expences and there are no probs. You do have to remember how much your drinks are however. I usually go to do my first loo visit as soon as I get my drinks and write it down. There. I sound like a seasoned MS dont I? I have only been doing it three weeks! Love it!

The best thing to do is contact the company who assigned the job to you. I had a phone call job with one company where the call did not fit any of the 'answers' on the form. So I phoned them up and they told me what they wanted me to put on the form and took some more info from me in case the client queried it. They were very happy that I had phoned them rather than ticking something that didn't fit.

You might find with some forms that there is no 'not applicable' or overide option to allow you to complete the form otherwise.

:rotfl: me too :beer: im really enjoying it i will have done 21 assignments by the time this week is out ! thats since Aug 1st !

and there was me thinking oh if i do 3 or 4 a month i will be happy :eek: :rotfl:

only got one more lined up after this wkend though seems to have slowed right down at the mo

Sorry didn't realise it was in a casino. Automatically assumed it was in a betting shop. No idea how you could get a receipt for those unless you get a receipt for buying the chips for use at the tables.

I agree with previous poster - I do loads for RetailEyes and never get a receipt for the drinks (just keep a note of what I ordered and how much it cost) but am careful to send them a receipt for the meal. HTH.

It does sometimes matter what method of payment you use - one of the companies I work for sometimes specifies you must pay by cash - normally for supermarket visits. They make it nice and clear on the instructions, though.

Of course this is difficult if you're regal like me - I am forever running out of cash and OH is even worse!

I've just checked my paperwork and will have done 12 by the end of this week, that's since mid-August. Not bad

Hope they add loads more soon though, I've only got 3 for next week and that's it!

This is a great thread & there has been lots of excellent advice.

A word of warning though, if you are unsure about a job, or whether you need a receipt, how to report etc you really should ask the company.

If you fail to stick to the 'rules' your assisgnment might be rejected, you may not get paid, your expenses might not be reimbursed & you might even get 'sacked'.

This forum is excellent for answering general enquiries but specific questions about jobs can really only be answered by the company.

I have visited 4 banks, phone call to a gym and a betting shop.
They even gave me some money to bet.
£10 per visit and £5 when phoning
