Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?

funny thing is from my house look over the coast it wouldn't take too long by rowing boat but driving by car would be another matter !!
after my reservations about yesterday, had a lovely meal and chat to my mum who I do not spend enough time with, had a fab hotel room with a huge double bed all to myself and no little ones jumping into bed with me because they had dreamt of scooby doo monsters. Had time to straighten my hair, paint my nails and read the latest Tesco magazine ! to be away from the PC, noise and to be in a room relaxing for one night has felt like a mini-break to me.
Mystery shopping may not pay well but for the happiness and joy of seeing my mum having a nice treat to me personally having some nice quality "me" time it was priceless.

I'm after a little clarification on reimbursement costs - I've seen a "shop" that has a £50 reimbursement - I have to buy drinks and place bets, now do I need to provide reciepts and if so, how do I do this for bets?
shop fee quite low but the above is making up for it!

When you place the bet they give you a receipt. If the bet is a winning one they will keep the receipt when you go to collect your winnings.
You will either need to make sure that you either
note down the receipt number or
take the receipt home and copy/scan it before you claim your winnings.
Winnings can usually be collected from any shop in the chain (so you dont have to go back to the one you placed it at if there is a closer one for you).
In recent MS for Retail Eyes they had stated in the instructions that you need to note the slip number.0 -

It says you have to order your drinks, then sit down then order food. Won't they think it's odd i'm asking for a receipt for a couple of drinks?
Does it matter what method of payment I use?
It's not unusual to ask for a receipt (although I did slip up and ask for a VAT receipt in a pub - there is no VAT on food I was told....)
Be careful if you're relying on pubs taking a card for a couple of drinks, not all pubs take them for small bills (under £5) I had to scrape together enough to pay for our drinks when they wouldn't take my card - :shocked:Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

I would just write down exactly what happened - ordered, phone to check as no delivery, order cancelled. Obviously you can fill in food questions as you didn't get any.
RE Pub jobs: It depends on the bar. Say you'll be eating but haven't looked at the menu yet. Ask if you can open a tab to put the drinks on, then add the food to later. You'll get one reciept for the lot then, which is plausable especially if you pay by card.
If you pay for the drinks first, then go back to order food, I wouldn't ask for a reciept. I'm sure it says in the brief not to ask for a reciept for just drinks, but check that. Here I go again on my own....0 -

I've turned down the job now anyway but it was at casino one, how do you get a reciept from a slot machine or a blackjack table?
