lol a numnut! yes I have been a numnut for a while now:rotfl:, perhaps when you get more assignments sorted you can combine a few in the same area on the same day so its more worth while for you. I hope it goes well, let us know how you get on.

Tetsuko .... make sure you've read your brief fully as most will require a copy of the receipt to prove you bought the item. You may need to photocopy it before you return the item as most shops keep the receipt once you return the item. ;)

My sympathies with the shoppers who have found themselves in this situation. The American company is a reputable company and anyone who has done work for them direct have not to my knowledge had any problems with payment.
The problems that some are experiencing, is the outsourcing company which advertised these jobs on this forum and not the American Company. I think its unfair to mention two other forums who have stopped them from advertising Work available when they have no payment issues with their own assessors. Perhaps the forums you are talking about are closely linked to you in some way. It would have been fairer of you to let us know this in your post.
I know the American company are working with the outsourcing company to resolve the situation and are concerned that their name is being tarnished like this.
I would suggest that this is a matter for both company's to work together in resolving.

It seems that both companies involved in this situation are reputable companies ;)

This situation would be easily resolved if the American Company simply paid the outsourcing company the money that is due to them, the outsourcing company could pay the shoppers & everyone would be happy. Or is that too simple?

I have done work over a long period of time for the American company and have always received my payment promptly. On the last occasion I foolishly accepted the assignment through the outsourcing company and am still waiting for payment or even a explination giving reasons why my payment is late. This is not acceptable business practie in my mind and I will not work for the outsourcing company again, thought will accept assignments through the American company.

I agree Chas that is the simplest action but its not for any of us to speculate what is going on between the two companies, hopefully it will end in a happy situation for all concerned.
My response was to Genies post regarding the American Company being stopped from posting on two other forum. I presume this refers to Rpoints and MSuk, Genie is involved with both sites so a little unfair on the American companies behalf isn't it. The American company have not advertised work available on MSE only the outsourcing allocator and any work that was done can only be paid by that company irrespective of whether they have been paid yet by their client.
I am sure it will all end with a happy solution for all concerned.

    Hi guys,
I don't normally post on this forum, but I am caught up in this whole pizza fiasco. I have done 3 jobs for the American company and 2 for the British. The British company have been very good, keeping me informed of whats going on and I feel sorry for them. The American company on the other hand paid me late for the assignments I did in January and I am wondering if I will get paid for the February assignments. Don't be too harsh on the British company, after all they were relying on payment from the American company.
I have been Mystery Shopping for a while now and this is the first time I have had any problems with payment, so don't let it put any new shoppers off.

Thats exactly what i want to do right now to be honest - put as many people off using this company as possible - i keep asking people to remember that this is a debt free wannabee thread and therefore people are looking for a good way to earn money. This is not a good way to earn money and I am sick of being told I should feel sorry for the company - guess what I dont because they owe me money:mad:

I would encourage people not to work for the American company as well, until this has been settled. To be honest I am not expecting to be paid for any more pizza jobs from both companies. :(
