Hi I've managed to get a reveal one through TNS now but I'm also a bit worried as you actually have to arrange delivery for the item, then reveal. Do they give you instructions as to at what point you hand over the letter, and what do you say when you hand it over? Its not until early December and I don't want to be worrying about it until then.0

Once you've revealed yourself (when they ask you to pay), the staff will delete your transaction from their computer, so your delivery will be deleted, too.

Some of the reveal ones have been changed too, so you don't have to make a purchase, arrange delivery or anything... so check your paperwork.

Hi Turtle
I've booked the same reveal ones as you, and I know I'll be worrying too, but I am looking forward to it at the same time. We can worry together! I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's just different to normal isn't it.

when i did the reveal ones i just folded the letter up and put it in my purse and then when i was told how much it was i pulled it out and handed it over instead of the money. if you have arranged for home delivery, some you do and some you dont, then just confirm it has been cancelled. they wont deliver it though cos you wont be paying for it anyway
ive had 2 very different reactions. the first one the poos mos pooped themselves and the second one the mos just burst out laughing. wouldnt care be the first was great, the second was crap
im not bothered about going back there, if i need to i will and if i get better service cos they recognise me then so be it

I shouldn't worry about the reaction of the staff - these visits have been going on every month for over a year.0

I did the very first one at my local store - the member of staff was ok & everything went well until I came back in & asked for the manager (so I could do the reveal). The brief had stated that you must speak to the manager (or duty manager) & no one else. That was fine, except the staff wouldn't get him!
I ended up leaving the store, ringing them & asking to speak to the duty manager. I said I was calling from head office. When I got put through I said I was outside & I was the mystery shopper, but they wouldn't let me speak to him!
The questionnaire (then) stated 'what did the manager say when you revealed yourself as the mystery shopper' - his exact reply was F**K.0 -
