Sorry Charlene - I've never done a mobile job that involved a purchase, as I don't want to be credit checked.

I've done reveal ones but not for TNS. It was targetting "chuggers" so you had to wander past until you got caught, go through the sales and sign up process then reveal yourself right at the end and ask for the paperwork to stop it being processed. It was generally ok, apart from one woman who had stood there for a few hours and she was so excited as I was the first person to speak to her. Her face fell when I told her who I was - poor thing!

Another lady was really excited though and said they got a shopping voucher for a good mystery shop report. As she was good at her job, she said she was looking forward to getting her voucher! It's nice to know good service gets rewarded.
Were you supposed to tell them that you were mystery shopping then? I would love to tell some of the places that ive been to(especially the awful ones) but sadly i havent been able to.Are you allowed to say who it was for(mystery firm) as id love one of those assignments.

Has anyone else had problems with GAP and trying to fax through receipts. My scanner has expired and I've tried taking a photo as they suggested (of the receipt) that's totally unreadable.

So, I printed off the form on which to fax and spent most of the weekend and all day Monday trying to send this rotten fax.
I emailed them on Monday night, but no reply as yet.
I've now got another receipt to go and one more tomorrow.

HELP......it's my first jobs for them as well.....don't have these sort of problems with GR
yes every bloomin time

    you arent the only one

the last time i did an assignment for them ( late afternoon) i couldnt do it from home so hubby was going to fax it from his work the next day

i had an email early the next morning saying the time limit was up and that i would be paid this time but to make sure they are faxed off ASAP next time ! their time limits are stupidly short IMO

much prefer TNS arrangement where you can send them off free post

The questionnaire (then) stated 'what did the manager say when you revealed yourself as the mystery shopper' - his exact reply was F**K.
    PMSL :rotfl:

I'd love to put that into a questionnaire! :rotfl:

Anyone  Even if no one knows, it would have been nice for someone to acknowledge my post! Aaah well.
Sorry Charlene, we didn't mean to ignore you :o

I didn't know the answer either, but assumed someone would. :o

I think I know the assignment you meant, as I tried applying for one as well but was too late. I remember the fee was quite good :D (is that to compensate for the credit check? )

Anyway, good luck with sorting it out. :)

Re GAP - I've only never had a problem faxing receipts and have submitted them upto 2-3 days after the MS and have no problems. Though I've only done the recent burger assignments and a pizza one in september that I haven't yet been paid for (forgot to enter my payment details)
