You can do some in your lunch break and at weekends.
I also do a lot of evening meals.0 -
Where the tax is concerned you should be sent the relevant paperwork at the beginning of April - for the new tax year. That lists what you have earned, how much tax you have paid to date. Those details need to be entered onto your tax return.
I worked for retail maxim for a couple of years, but wasn't offered much of anything exciting, but then I don't live near a big city. I found this thread and will register with a couple of the recommended companies and give it another go!0 -

Today I registered with the tax office and have been given a £100 penalty for not registering within 3 months.
Just want to warn you-even though I will prob make less that £100 per year from MS, I have to declare it to the tax office-but I should get an exemption from paying NI (i think).
I rang the tax office this evening and was given the same information but as it was just over the three months I was told I could appeal to get the £100.00 back. I have earned in total £40. I thought I could just tell them at end of year. However did not register this evening and may just not bother to carryout any more ms.0 -
MABLE.
Register with TNS. They sort out all your tax as you are basically an employee.
Much less hassle and they have lots of jobs at the moment.0 -

Also as I am in full time employment can I declare my earnings to the tax office from my mystery shopping assignments at the end of the tax year. I have read about registering as self employed but that would not apply to me.

Don't worry about buying a book, trust me, you won't make enough money out of retail eyes to get the price of the book back! I registered back in April and did one optician 'shop' for them. It was a nightmare getting the report back to them as the site kept going down and then they wouldn't accept some of my answers. They sent me an email asking me to contact them on a national number (!) to go through the answers..........in the end there was absolutely nothing wrong with the form but the girl said they have to go through it with people if there is a question which hasn't been answered. I was about 20 minutes on the phone, took about 2 hours on the form and getting it through.... as well as the two hours it took to get the test and consultation done and pay £3 for parking........all for payment of £12??? And because of the delay in them contacting me to go through the form, I wasn't paid for 8 weeks!
I work full time and a friend said she made some money from mystery shopping, so I thought it sounded really good. It's not. Turns out she has only done 3 and has made only £18. It's never going to make anyone rich.

MY situation is I have a full time job and have to fit the assignments in on my day off, which is normally on a Tuesday.0 -
I have just signed up with bai data as their jobs look quite interesting and better pay than some others...does anyone know what their reputation is like?
