    Bloody explains it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my copy of the "defence" from the courts 5-7 days ago, approx a month after filing an m-col.... it said within the letter to fill out the allocation questionnaire and return it to the court...... BUT, I HAD NO QUESTIONAIRRE in the letter....informed the court, they were not sure why that was the case and said they would send one out...

Then today, i recieve my allocation questionairre in one envelope, and another from the court informing me that my case has been STAYED til mar 2008...

Makes you wonder if that was the reason they did'nt even bother sending it to me in the first place!!!!

Is my next move ringing the court and clarifying that it is A CREDIT CARD CLAIM?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    GAZ....

sorry, VERY ANGRY and P***ED off GAZ.

While trying to get your stay lifted, start dealing with Barclaycard. It worked for me. Just ask them if they are willing to settle the claim without going to court.

    Nice One.

Mine was passed on also, so its seems as though things are going to plan.

My case had been stayed, so i was surprised how easy they paid up. They should offer you full amount + interest + court costs - anything already paid out.

You have to sign a form, saying you wont talk about it, and return it. If you can print it, sign it, then scan it and email it back, it speeds the process up.

Don't want to get your hopes up, as you have someone different handling your claim, but you have a better chance here than the courts.
  • The Court Stayed my claim.....

On the same day as the money from Barclaycard fell into my account which was payment in full + interest + Court Costs.

Thanks everyone for all your postings on here...

Everyone else keep going.....And if anyone needs the number for the Litigiation Office just PM me

    All the best

I've just got off the phone to Barclaycard litigation dept after reading Northolk Shot's post and they told that they are settling most claims now out of court and are trying to get the letters sent out in the next couple of weeks.
After telling them that i'm at the stage where i'm waiting for a court date back from Brentford County Court they have bumped me up the list and said i should have a full settlement offer in the next week. one phone call has made me feel a lot better, i was panicking a bit about going to court. So fingers crossed i should here back soon. I'll keep you all updated. And thanx to Northolk Shot for helping out.
