And I do agree with you that non-disabled children has costs too. I just dont think you can realise the scale until you live with a disabled child.SPC #1813

I do know (I volunteer with some) - but not ALL are in the same boat - it is very individual.
My eldest is a transplant patient - she didn't have additional costs (bar my parking whilst undergoing treatment), but not in the scale of the likes or yours, kingfisher and wattdallas's children.
That's my argument - it shouldn't be universal to all DLA claimants.0 -

But there are no severe costs associated with Asthma - my eldest also has severe asthma and all his medication is provided for him (seretide, salbutamol, steroids), therefore there are no costs financially.
My other son is severely disabled, and there are lots of costs. As I have said up thread, the costs are mainly trying to cover the gaps in what the LA provides - like the nappy rule of 4 a day, we can go through that in an hour sometimes.SPC #1813

So we return to the question - why and how then would a DLA award help children like my grandson - apart from putting a few exra pennies into the household pot!
You dont have a grandson you are a 31 year old woman, well you were yesterday, then you morphed into a 64 year old man.
You are an evil troll who likes to abuse disabled people, and the sooner the mods remove you from this forum, the betterThe DWP = Legally kicking the Disabled when they are down.0
