  • Unfortunately I didn't pay by credit card. They disgust me continuing to take money when they clearly knew :(

I just had a phone call from the Liverpool Branch, Dawn i think her name is. She was really helpful and very apologetic and is delivering my dress early next week. The liquidaters have said that because i have paid for the dress it is now my property so it is with the rest of them at the secure storage place. I'm so relieved but won't be able to relax until my dress is with me.

The bridesmaid dress we aren't sure of because i had only paid half of it. She is going to check in the storage place tomorrow. If its not there then i will just have to find another one, i paid on my credit card so should get my money back.

I hope all the brides-to-be get answers soon, but from what i've heard the ladies at the shops are trying their best in a crappy situation.

With regard to your bridesmaids dresses get in touch with the Designer, they may have them already made for you. Dawn is one of the Directors of The Bridal Gallery Group and as such will know who you need to speak to in order to get your Bridesmaid gowns.

Even if you did not pay by cc, the Designer will still want to help you. It does not matter to them how you gave your money to the store, what matters is that you are not let down.
  • Hi there,
My friend is getting married next week and her dress is from the bridal gallery chester. She got a call yesterday morning from a girl called Lauren to say they have her dress and will get it to her on Sunday. We managed to get hold of her and she brought our dresses. It sounds to me like she is trying her very hardest to sort out dresses that were already in the shop and get them to the brides. I presume she is starting with most urgent and working her way back, ie brides getting married today first. There is hope girls, at least for people who had paid in full and dresses in the shops. They have email address on their website so contact her with your mobile number and ask her to call.

Even if it has not been ordered try not to worry there should be time to sort it out.
  • I walked past the Preston shop today only to see a closed sign on the door and the poor saturday girl frantically trying to find out what was going on. No-one had told her that the shops had closed and she had been there an hour and a half!!it was only because she spoke to the lady next door who said she had seen people trying and failing to collect dresses yesterday that she put 2 and 2 together. I think its disgusting that the staff wernt told :(( and unprofessionall that brides are having to deal with emails and not face to face at this worrying time. Hope you all get sorted soon girls xxx

The last paragraph of this doesn't sound good, (there is hope girls, AT LEAST for people who had PAID IN FULL) what about us who have paid half deposit ???? Where do we stand, I haven't had a phone call telling me my deposit will either be returned in the next few days, or my dress will be delivered to me? What about us???? Sounds to me you are one of the directors who know exactly what your doing?? Please contact me as well as everyone else, to let us know what we do?????
  • I am exactly the same as Penny - £800 deposit paid, £150 headdress delivered last week and stored at the Chester store, dress due in approx a month and no response, phone calls nada!! I have found another store that I can order the dress with (took me months of searching to find it) but just two weeks to do so otherwise it'll never be delivered / fitted in time. I can't afford to buy it twice, just need my money back as I don't trust them to fulfil the order now of course and can't risk waiting to find out! It's so frustrating and upsetting :( x
  • My name is Karl Jennings, the owner of Eternity Bridalwear in Warrington. We are Premium Dealers for Pronovias and Jenny Packham.

We found out about the demise of the Bridal Gallery Group via Pronovias yesterday morning. Many of you will be panicking and wondering what will happen to your bridal orders. We would really like to help.

I have personally spoken to 16 very concerned Pronovias Brides today who do not know the status of their bridal orders. The agent for Pronovias has asked that we forward their details over to her directly and in turn she will contact them with the status of their order within a few days.

If there are any other brides who have ordered their Pronovias or Jenny Packham gowns through the Bridal Gallery Group and require assistance, please feel free to contact us via email eternity4bridal@gmail.com (alternatively, call us on 01925 724040 anytime after 10am on Tuesday)

While we cannot cover your financial loss we can at least make sure the dress of your dreams arrives on time.
