I'm in a similar position Hun but my wedding isn't until July so I have a bit more time at least. I spoke to a great shop today Eternity bridal they got the Pronovias rep to call me, she checked out my details and told me it hadn't been ordered so I'm now having to reorder though Eternity. 💎

Mine is pronovia too, I've done the same and have made an appointment with eternity Warrington.
Just need confirmation of liquidation, to claim money back.

We found out about this today when my daughter visited the Chester shop to pay the balance (small) on her wedding dress. The dress was already in the store. Does anyone know whether she is likely to still get the dress?

It's really annoying because she has had to pester the store to get the dress in as they were trying to fob her off telling her it wouldn't be in until a few weeks before the actual wedding - totally opposite to what she was told when she ordered it. She had only just ordered her bridesmaid dresses (three!) a few weeks ago, paying in full!!

Why on earth is there no integrity with these people? :mad:

Her wedding is only 5 months away and she is unlikely to find another dress that can be delivered in time, but at least we have 5 months! I really feel for anyone with only weeks to spare.

Thank God for wedding insurance but we still have to find the money to sort everything out in the interim.

Skyb I think everyone whose dresses were in the shop are due to have them delivered, I think you should be getting a call from what it says on their website x

I to came home to a letter today and didn't know anything about this, I have paid for my dress in full and my daughters flower girl dress in full, really don't know if I will get the money back.

My dress was ordered from Preston and is a Mark Lesley dress. I have just had a very tearful phone with Mark Lesley himself! He and his team only found about about this on Friday. He was so reassuring and helpful. He confirmed that he had the order. He and his team are currently going through all orders and I can assure any other mark Lesley brides that if you want some helpful advice please ring them direct. He has guaranteed that I will get the dress I ordered. I will have to pay again more than likely but will try and recoup what I have already paid through my credit card. mark Lesley has said he is going to do everything he can to help us brides. Hope this helps some of you.. Definately worth ringing the suppliers direct, it was quite a shock to find out the man I was crying down the phone to was Mark himself.

Mark Lesley has been really helpful, if you are in Preston area then you will be able to get your dress delivered to Halo & Ellis on Blackpool road as they are stockists of Mark's dresses.

Thanks Dawnporter, I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not overly confident, especially since it wasn't paid in full. I really hope they are doing everything they claim to fulfill their responsibilities...

Hi all

I have just received my letter tonight about Bridal Gallery. Gutted!!!

Just wondered if anyone else has possibly(who knows) placed an order with Ellis? I ordered mine on 1st Sept and paid half with Preston Branch but has it made Ellis?

Does anyone have a contact number for Ellis? So I can see if my order has been made. If not I will have to reorder and wait for money back.
