That's a shame you weren't impressed, seems to be a few people not happy with the contents.
Not looking forward to my sweet hamper coming now, from what i can gather they haven't put any 100g of anything in them at all.:(

I didn't have any of the 100g sweets in mine but if you work out the amount you paid then I'm still very happy as I did the 2 per month deal so paid about £5.80 per hamper and they are definitely worth more than that.

The Xmas hamper I priced checked on their website and it was around £40 with adding the cost of the biscuit as they aren't on their so not much of the rrp that was first advised.

I just want my Xmas special hampers to hurry up!

I know they can't read threads on here because they've asked on Twitter in the past if their deals are on here. They are currently replying to posts on Twitter as it seems someone has questioned whether they are legit or a scam. I know they're not scammers, and like a lot of you I think their problems are that they have taken too much on, and their organisation skills need a bit of work. There are many unemployed people in the Caister / Great Yarmouth area so I'm sure they could have employed at least one elf to help pack hampers.

Well, I have every faith in them and am happy with what I've received so far :)

It sounds like they've taken on too much but they've said it will all be delivered by the 14th so I'm not worrying.

I feel for the poor guy, :( just read the posts on twitter and wow way over the top in my opinion. Wish i knew how to set up a twitter account and i would give him some encouragement.

Yes i think he has bitten off more than he can chew, yes not replying to emails in incredibly annnoying and yes not having an acutal delivery date is a real pain in the butt, BUT to say it is a scam is in my opinion unfair.
Questioning whether or not they are legit especially when people have started to receive their hampers is the last thing he needs.

The only reason i say i may not use them again is simply because of the whole delivery date issue, maybe next year he could introduce a way of being able to pick a date for delivery. For me that would be much better.

I haven't ordered, so no axe to grind one way or another, but the fact they only charged 1 x £4.95 for P&P is a total bargain (assuming you get what you paid for of course)!! :o

To get a choice of delivery date/or time would probably cost that per hamper and not per deal, wouldn't it?

Or an email to say your order has been despatched - that way you'd know to get somebody to wait in the next day.

Picking a date for delivery is usually expensive. I've just ordered from somewhere and the option to pick a date was around £7! So I wouldn't expect them to provide that service for everyone. Also, I think if they ever run another deal they need to make people stick to their monthly terms instead of letting people get all of their hampers at once, because that will have added to their backlog and overwork at the moment.

If I lived locally I'd go and give them a hand on my day off, and make them some toast and tea. It sounds like they're run ragged.

Yes i see what you mean, maybe just for the Christmas hampers introduce a system of picking a date.
No thinking about it it just wouldn't work:(

I don't know the answer, maybe simply learn from this and next year don't take on so much. I know it''s a small company and they want all the orders they can get but when that starts impacting on actually getting the hampers delivered because they quite imply don't have enough hours in the day then they WILL lost custom. Which as i have said before is a real shame.
