I'm waiting on the 3 get 3 free for £55 and asked when ordered if I could have the Just Add cheese and Galaxy hampers instead of the honey and retro sweets one, I was told this would be fine...so fingers crossed as they also said originally they'd be here 1st week in December. When I'd heard nothing I emailed and did get a reply fairly quickly,
"They are due to leave us the end of this week so should be with you the early part of next week." I've just emailed this sec to ask if they have left yet.
    I love this place :j:T:j
  • That's it in a nutshell Poppie. I so want to keep on ordering from them as I know they can be great, but not until the current issues are resolved. The contents of the picnic deal for anyone who has forgotten should be

6 Hampers in total, 1 per month over the next 6 months for £69.99. OR you can add a second deal for another £10. You only pay one p&p charge which was less than £3.

Month 1 Picnic Hamper (value of £29.99)
Month 2 Thorntons Hamper (value of £20.00)
Month 3 Apple juice and preserve hamper (value of £27.99)
Month 4 Retro Sweet hamper (value of £29.99)
Month 5 Surprise Christmas hamper filled with all christmas goodies (value of £49.99)
Month 6 Jam lover Hamper filled with 6 of our best selling preserves (value of £29.49)

It says a free Sweet Hamper will be sent with the Christmas Hamper.

Let's hope they manage to sort everyone out.

This is the set of hampers I ordered as itemised so well by you x 2.

So far have received: 2 picnic hampers, 2 Thorntons, 2 Apple Juice/with jams which was unfortunately minus the vinegar bit but promise of same coming at a later date! All others due next week I have been informed and I have been looking forward too much and to anxiously to receiving them - not feeling confident about content of these now due to delay and scant items received by forum members in the Xmas ones.

Will keep hopeful of a good outcome for all and myself. I have not subscribed to any further hampers because of the uncertainty I am experiencing until they are all safely with me. I was planning these for ourselves and other family gifts.
  • I am expecting delivery of 8 hampers from the 12 hamper deals early next week. ( i have 4 deals)
I have every confidence that they will arrive next week and will be more than the value I have paid for them. I am realistic about what to expect for the money paid and will take into account the time spent putting these hampers together and packaging materials.
Some people are disappointed with the service received but so far I have no complaints.
I am having my hampers delivered to 4 different addresses, another plus point for me .

I bought on the expectation of delivery in the first week of December - not posted for 14th Dec.
Disappointed now, I'm going to have to buy extra gifts if I don't get mine very soon.

I think everyone thought the same, that we would have them the first week. It is disappointing.

Mine are now coming next week, just sweating a bit about whether someone will be in or not.
Hoping OH may not be playing golf Tuesday or Wednesday.:rotfl:
  • recieved a reply this morning - Your hampers will be with you at some point next week.

erm... well i guess thats good better than no response :)
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:

They do round here (South Wales).

  • A couple of people asking where their hampers are this morning on twitter.

The reply they got was they will be with you next week.

I think the most annoying thing is they can't give you an exact day(which other companies seem to be able to do or at least give you the option to pick a certain date) and they don't reply to emails.

It is unrealistic to think that people can just sit in and wait for them all to arrive. Most people work and it's a hassle and a worry trying to guess when they may arrive. My main worry is if i am out when they come i have then got to try and re-arrange a delivery when i can get someone to be here (which apart from neighbours who also work i don't really have anyone)or i can take time from work which this close to Christmas is a nightmare.

I was so looking forward to my hampers arriving but now i am beginning to wish i hadn't bothered.
Not sure if i would use them again which is sad because their hampers do look great.
