- Rowingman Row If you have lost money through closure of The Norfolk Hamper Co I would be interested to hear from you. As a supplier to this company it owes my company a considerable amount of money which I will be doing my best to recoupe. Strength in numbers a they say. I'm having an operation on Wednesday so whilst I'm recuperating I'll be researching and writing/emailing to see where I stand! Too much to do before Wednesday so I'll worry about it after that!0

Quite frankly I think its disgraceful, they report regularly of other businesses that have gone bust or in trouble. There's been nothing from Radio Norfolk since it announced he'd ceased trading last week. No follow up, nothing.
I think several on here have also emailed the paper to no avail.
I also emailed the journalist who wrote the original article for the regional papers. I had the same response about it being on "a list."You'd think this would be quite a big story locally even if Neil isn't quite so forthcoming to talk to the media now!

I've just emailed my story. Having received a part order, being outside paypal claim time and Barclays not interested, I may not be able to do anything about my own situation but will help others in any way I can.0 -

Hi all,
Just wondering how you are all getting on with your chargebacks? And to see if anyone has any screen shots relating to the 12 + 12 hamper deal, with what's included the dates etc or any screen shots of the website and the hampers, and the order section (with your details blacked out) as I think I need to include these with my chargeback request. TIA and hope everyones getting this resolved as best they can. What did others do that had part of their order?
Cheers

Rang the bank again and apparently I won't be able to claim my money back at all. Can't do chargeback as they say I have to claim through PayPal. Totally hacked off and stressed now! Why do they say one thing and then change their mind? No point in taking it any further I don't think as visa chargeback is up to the bank's discretion so obviously they will just reject it. Hummmmph! Even crosser as I can't do anything with paypal as I closed my dispute as I decided to give Neil a chance. Last time I trust people, a hard lesson learnt.
Have a re-read of my posts 3852/3853. It seems that all banks using visa debit cards have agreed to the Chargeback procedure. 4th or 5th paragraph down on post 3852. There is a template letter for claiming the chargeback on the Which?Consumer site. If you have the energy, try claiming with the letter. Unfortunately after all of these knock-backs its hard to find the energy, I know.0 -
Hope all goes as it should with your op, you really don't need this stress at the minute.
Sorry, meant this for room512.0 -

I'm disappointed at the level of (non) interest in this scandal.
Hi Bella, that was me, :embarasse they did cut chunks out of the interview & I was so nervous at doing it, I know there would have been better people doing it than me as I get a bit toungetied, I did ask on here if anyone would do it, but no luck, I was trying to be reasonable on the interview, thinking at the time like many others he'd got into a mess & was trying to pull himself out of it, but now wish I'd been a bit more harsh, (am not like that as a person though) sorry I was no help...
at the end of the interview they said I'd now been contacted by Neil, this is what happened next..
I had recieved an email from Neil (as I'd emailed him to see if he would change my order,as who wants Christmas goodies in Jan?) saying that would be ok to have the 6+6?
He said fine, did I want them all at once or 2at a time? & then I got a call from Neil, asking which ones I would like, so I asked for the valentines one & the large fruit hamper, he said he was getting the valentines one in & would send it to me at the end of the month, question is now.........
