    Hi
Surely you go in to administration first then an administrator comes in and makes the decision if you are insolvent, and surely anyone still owed money should have the option to list themselves as a creditor?

    Helpful (general) explanation: http://www.business-sale.com/guide-to-corporate-insolvency.html

@ maxtweenie - Hi maxtweenie did you get chance to go through the list of what people are owed?

I've got some spare time if it's still worth doing.

Sorry, got sidetracked with the white stuff outside this weekend and failed my homework.

  • Just googled and found this

I found it quite easy to read and make sense of.

    Thanks for that.

I found this interesting - talking about the creditors

    "However (unless the actions of
the directors can be shown to be wrongful, negligent or fraudulent) they cannot
    take any further action."

    Mmmmm
  • Thanks. I've just skimmed the link but i think he would need some sort of insolvency practitioner. I have emailed the insolvency service to ask if anyone is handling the case as i don't believe it.

I only know a little about these things but reading up i think he could be looking at dissolution where he does nothing for three months and then applies to have business to be struck off. If hes looking at doing this i don't want to take it lying down, i will write as a creditor.

I'll post back when/if i get a reply from the insolvency service. I believe he is a lying cretin!

I've got 24 hampers being delivered over the next 12 months that I have paid £92.99 for...which is less that £4 per each hamper.
I have ordered them to bring a smile to In-laws and Dad's face each month,I am realistic of their cost so I know I will not be disappointed, I really do not mind if there are substitute products or items are smaller.
If necessary I will have future ones delivered to myself instead and add some goodies to bump them up a bit before I give them out
    .
I look forward to getting the call to say they have been received and then I look forward to calling Neil & Co to say 'Thank you'

would love to know what your gonna say to him now

you went for the same deal as me 24 hampers over a year I presume and this is why getting your money back even if you wanted the hampers (as I had originally) was the best option as the company were never going to honour those deals.:( Have you still got time to put in a paypal claim? If so divide the figure you paid by 24 minus 2 of them and that is the figure paypal should pay you for the outstanding 22 hampers. I hope you get a refund:o

Im way out of the 45 day claim, have called my credit card to see if they can help, they are sending out paperwork so hopefully we can get something back.
