    Xmas Saver!
I will apologise now, as I have no idea how these things work, so I am be wrong, but-

I was wondering of any of you could get anything from Norfolk Trading Standards, as they could have stopped this happening in December.
  • I also got the email today, what a kick in the teeth for all those still waiting for a refund or hampers :(

just had the same E-mail gutted skint and won't get refund now :(

If you paid by Credit Card, ring them now and ask for a chargeback as the company have stopped trading and you have not received what you have paid for. It is on NHC website that they stopped trading today so tell them that. If the person you speak to at CC company does not know what a chargeback is, ask them to put you through to somebody who does.

When did you make your payment? What date? I think you have 120 days to do this, but I believe this is from when you knew there was a problem with your order , not date of transaction.

The main reason you can carry out a chargeback on both debit card and credit card is breach of contract which this definately is. If you persevere you will get your money back.

    Good Luck

Just read this on twitter, can anyone still owed money get help from PayPal and trading standards? I have not had the email as the company has never sent me an email since December so I do not know the full details.

    Im still owed 22 hampers!

you went for the same deal as me 24 hampers over a year I presume and this is why getting your money back even if you wanted the hampers (as I had originally) was the best option as the company were never going to honour those deals.:( Have you still got time to put in a paypal claim? If so divide the figure you paid by 24 minus 2 of them and that is the figure paypal should pay you for the outstanding 22 hampers. I hope you get a refund:o

Trading standards are not in any position to enforce refunds - even before this collapse. You have 3 options:

    1. claim via paypal if within 45 days
    2. chargeback through your bank if paid by debit card
    3. chargeback through your CC provider if within 120 days and it usually has to be over £100

Otherwise there is not much else you can do sorry
24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence?
