This is what the email said
"Here at The Norfolk Hamper Company we would like to apologise to everyone who may not have recieved their hampers from us over Christmas. We apologise if this may have caused any upset to you or your family this was not intentional.
We are working very hard to put the situation right and putting new procedures in place to make sure this will not happen again.
If anyone who would still like their hampers who we have not contacted as yet we are still able to do this and replace the Christmas ones with an alternative then please contact us to arrange this by email and we will call you back.
    Please accept our sincere apologies.

I have had a call from Neil this morning, saying he'd like to send me hampers in substitution for the ones I ordered (3+3) and inviting me to choose alternatives from his website.

I explained I'd prefer a refund, which he has promised to send when he gets a new chequebook.

I had the same call today. And answered the same, I want nothing more or less than my money :) also waiting on him getting his new chequebook

Well as per usual he thought so much of me as a customer that I don't even get the apology email all these weeks later. And yes I have been refunded but by PayPal and no contact with the actual company/problem.
  • Got my refund via CC today. Very happy :T but also got the "apology" email from NHCo.!

Better spelling and grammar than previously but too little too late for me.

Good luck to everyone still waiting on a resolution.

action seems to be taking place :)
  • finally got an email .
asked if I have started a dispute through PayPal (no) or if he could have my bank details so he can make a refund directly . I have asked for a cheque or for him to refund the credit card I paid on.

very reluctant to give him bank details .....
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:
  • I've not seen it mentioned on the thread but there was a peice on Radio Norfolk yesterday morning. I'm not yet allowed to put a link on here but go to Radio Norfolk website, then find Chris Goreham's breakfast show and you will find it at 45 minutes in.
