Hey everyone, just thought I'd check in and see if you all got your refunds today. I've just got back from a business meeting in Manchester. Funnily enough, a little bird told me our favourite hamper company proprietor was also in Manchester today giving a radio interview. Probably accepting the small businessman of the year award: :rotfl:
Gosh, I wish I'd known - I'd have gone and confronted him on behalf of all of you unhappy customers ;)

I have had a call from Neil this morning, saying he'd like to send me hampers in substitution for the ones I ordered (3+3) and inviting me to choose alternatives from his website.

I explained I'd prefer a refund, which he has promised to send when he gets a new chequebook.

I'm guessing that's an apology he doesn't really want to make ...

"Sorry for the delay in issuing your refund, but I've run out of cheques because I've been making so many refunds recently" :rotfl:

Another update on Norfolk Trading Standard's Facebook page..

The Norfolk Hamper Company Limited – update 11.01.2013

We are pleased to hear that a number of consumers have received refunds or if still requested, received their hampers.

The company is continuing to respond to requests for refunds and requests for hampers to sent out. This process should continue for the next week and a half therefore if you have sent an email/letter to the company you should receive a response within this time frame.

We have received consumer enquiries about hamper deliveries that are due late January 2013 and so on. The company have stated that these orders will be fulfilled.

We will continue to be in regular contact with the business to ensure that matters are sorted as quickly as possible.
