I'm still waiting for my cheque that he said would be sent out "in the next couple of days" which is now nearly 2 weeks ago. No reply to mails since then...

I received 2 x paypal claims for the 2 monthly hampers I ordered, am still waiting for a refund of my £59.99 paid in Oct for the 6 festive hampers that never arrived.
I last had an email from Neil a few weeks ago asking me to clarify how much he owed me and he would sort it out, so I emailed him all the details and have not heard anything since.
Couldn't claim through paypal for my first order as was outside of the time limit, explained all this in the email to Neil and told him he would need to refund this directly etc, but no response since

Just an update for me - i called NHC today and got straight through. Ive requested the hamper that i wanted for this month and checked that my details are on file. All is ok, and Januarys hamper will be sent out at the end of the month!

I was told by the lady on the phone to call at the beginning of Feb to place orders for Feb's hampers.

I think you need to send him a letter giving him 7 days to refund or you'll take him to the small claims court. Send it recorded delivery. He's taking the pee now.

That is disgraceful, he has had plenty of time now to at least reply to an email. I listened to the radio interview yesterday, still insisting only 50 customers were affected, so why has he not had the courtesy to respond to all of those 50 people!! He also said he had received personal threats on an internet forum??? Needs to toughen up a bit if he wants survive in the business world!

As I recall a poster said that he was going to wait a few more days, then if items ordered and paid for did not arrive he would drive down with a friend and collect them personally.
The added comment that the poster was ex-army and did not like being messed about could have appeared threatening, but most of the posters were angry by this time as the promised 'first week of December' posting date had been reneged on.

I am quite surprised that the company is contemplating sending out january hampers before even refunding or sorting out those people still waiting for Christmas orders.

I had a reply back today saying that he was waiting for a new cheque book that should arrive this week - once received, he would send the cheque straight out...
Does anyone have the link to he radio interview?
