PayPall refunded mainly, with no input from NHC, many others are still waiting.

This could have been sorted so much easier had Neil done the decent thing to start with.

Held his hands up and said sorry folks I messed up. Please stick with me and I will sort it. That is all it would have taken then this whole mess could have been avoided. Many would have stuck with it, and waited.

instead he burried his head in the sand and lets face it, hoped it would go away. Never giving a thought to the power of MSe'ers sticking together.

I am guessing newbie1980 you have visited Neils shop in the last few days then? Otherwise how would you know he is back in there and sorting his mess out?

I really do hope that everyone gets either a refund if thats what the customer wants, or the odd few that still want the hampers, I hope they are forthcoming.

But one thing I do know, I for one wont be making an order for hampers from Neil. Or any other company that springs up in the future with deals that look too good to be true.

Hear hear (note the correct spelling.) Every day on here (correct spelling) there are people who are saying they've been watching the thread but not previously posted and they haven't yet received any refunds. He may be working his way through those he owes money to, but by reopening the shop and [STRIKE]ripping more people off[/STRIKE] taking more orders he's only slowing down the process of refunding money to people who need it more than he does. Just because some people have received their money back, don't think that's the end of the problem.

I totally agree. PayPal has sorted this mess out for most people, not NHco - and even the PayPal refunds were processed as a result of the claim timing out due to no response from the seller.
He has been his own worst enemy - by being so antagonistic to genuine concerns/complaints and by ignoring his customers, he has alienated people. If he'd been more customer-friendly, I would have put up with the late Christmas hampers and continued with the rest of the 12 + 12 order. The main reason I cancelled in the end was the fact that I couldn't stand the thought of the monthly hamper stress (particularly as they were a gift), so I got out while I could.

He only seems to inh with the over 45 day ones or some of ten the rest are getting done by PayPal who are probably sick of him but will hopefully get the money back from him . He doesn't seen to have the courtesy to send out letters of apology very bad customer service

There's been another update on Norfolk Trading Standard's Facebook page...

The Norfolk Hamper Company Limited – update 8.01.2013

The company has reiterated today that it will take approximately 2 weeks to go through and process the majority of refunds. Some consumers have received refunds already. Therefore once you have contacted the company by email or letter, the company should respond to your complaint within the next 2 weeks. There is no need to send multiple messages if you have not heard back from the company within this time to avoid duplication and delay. The company have assured us that they are going through each complaint individually, with a number of refunds being processed each day.

We will continue to be in regular contact with the business to ensure that matters are sorted as quickly as possible.

Consumers can find information on their rights by accessing our consumer briefing: http://www.norfolk.gov.uk/view/NCC116386 .

It is important that you report your complaint to Citizens Advice consumer helpline to enable officers to investigate the matter thoroughly. If you have not already done so, or if you require further advice please do so by calling 08454 04 05 06. Alternatively you can also log your complaint using the online reporting form which can be accessed on: https://ssl.datamotion.com/form.aspx?co=3438&frm=citacomplainform&to=flare.fromforms .

Don't think I am the best one to speak for you all as I've spoken to the intended recipients of my hampers & they would still like to have them, & I can see there's lots of people who would be much better to speak on the radio rather than me, so pleeeeeese do me a favour & contact the radio station

    Contact Steve Martin on 01603 284 793

    Thanks Peeps!!!!:T:T:T
Hopefully they will get a section of customers who didn't get there hampers for Christmas ones who got the wrong ones or damaged ones ones who got refunds from PayPal and ones from the owner without an acknowledgment as well as the two satisfied customers he has who post on here

Going on the radio will alert the good people of Norfolk, and maybe Suffolk not to be taken in with offers too good to be true.

Of course if you have friends and family in these areas (like many of us do) then they hopefully will have already been told. I know my gang have anyways.

I also find that once the word is out then its

    Good night vienna.................................
