  • Has anyone that was outside the 45 days had any support from paypal is it worth trying to write or phone?

This whole episode does show up a weakness in Paypals claim to be a safe way to pay.

I was outside of the 45 days and did not receive my hampers. Recently emailed NHC (again!) and had a reply back. Received my refund directly into bank today :j

Don't give up, they do appear to be refunding gradually. Worth dropping another email during working hours.

Was just going to send an email and my NH account has changed status to refunded. I have checked paypal account but nothing there. Do you think I'm likely to receive a cheque?

Just for the record I have received my refund from PayPal as no response from seller but I was within the 45 day window. I'm very disappointed with the lack of refunds being reported as coming from the seller but hope they are happening, just not mentioned on here. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I would guess you will get a cheque as his PayPal account was suspended or closed so he can't use it to repay you. The only people getting money back via PayPal are those who had claims in and PayPal have found in their favour.
  • I have just received notification of my paypal refund of £100:D
I had ordered the 12 month deal and received 2 sweet hampers on Christmas Eve so requested a refund for 22 of the 24 hampers.
Thank you to everyone who gave advice to claim back the paypal payment.

Not really, unless you know how much they paid in the first place? I don't know.

  • Just recieved my third refund notice through PayPal. There is a discrepancy about him still owing a small amount over the 45 days but I did recieve one of my 12 +12 so I'm going to call it quits and wash my hands of the whole sorry affair now. Unless of course I can help anyone else.
