I suspect paypal will decide in favour of buyers in most if not all cases particularly if he is not even bothering to attempt to resolve things amicably. I just hope there are sufficient funds in his paypal account or linked bank account to cover all the refunds.0

It doesn't matter, if you win a paypal case you get your money back regardless. My thoughts entirely! I really don't know what to do. Will wait and see what happens.
Wonder if Paul Lewis (as in Radio 4's MoneyBox programme) might like to do a general piece on consumer rights in this sort of situation? Scroll down a bit to get his contact info on his homepage: http://www.paullewis.co.uk/
I've not contacted him because it is better coming from someone who has genuine concerns (ie non delivery or late delivery of an item) in case he'd like a bit of 'real life' colour.0 -
Great that some refunds are coming through even if paypal themselves have had to do it. Hopefully the credit card refunds will follow quickly.
I would love to know if the lady in the post HERE has had a refund. She reported she was housebound and the actions of the "IDIOT" have ruined her Xmas!!
Sadly she hasn't posted since.

PLEASE don't cast aspersions on my character, as seems to be happening with anyone who reports anything positive about this company. I am simply stating what has happened. You can see I have been a long term member on here, I was fairly sure this company was taking people for a ride. I have no idea why I received a refund. My email before I passed Neil my bank details was actually fairly abrasive to him. Like many on here, I'd had enough of the delays and lots of doubts.
But I have reported what has happened, hoping to give other people an idea how to deal with this. It worked for me, just wrote giving the order no., details of the order, my paypal transaction number, and bank details. I received a refund paid directly into my bank account the next day. I don't know how it was paid. I have no reason to lie, have written about 6 emails to Neil in total, twittered twice. Most received no answer until the last two or three days. That's all I can say. I hope others have the same success I have.
I was not passing aspersions I was really happy for you that you have a refund as none of us should have been in this situation in the first place so it is nice to know that some people are finally getting their money back. I am just not sure what else I need to do which would be the same as your case and now some others to actually get a response and refund myself that is all.
As for me well my PayPal claim date for a response was today and the company has not responded but it does not say PayPal are doing anything yet either so I am even more upset as I was really really hoping that paypal would have just given me a refund now the date has passed0 -

Paypal will probably give them till the end of the day, and they might be basing it on US time, rather than UK time. You might find the refund comes through tomorrow.0 -
