There was a post earlier mentioning that the posh pops were out of date nov 12 I have had several its not too clear but they all are Nov 13 double check before making fools of yourself I didn't think they would send anything out of date.
If you have ones that wee in date it does not mean that those people who have said they have reviewed ones out of date have Been wrongNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0 -
I'm really glad that my Dad and Inlaws accepted their hamper yesterday and did not refuse as other people have, as it made their day and I look forward to them receiving the rest.
I never once believed he was a con-man and I really hope he can pull through this, even with all the refunds and paying out for deliveries not accepted.
The problem is with the people who have ordered monthly hampers. Do they. Hope the buisness continues after all the money he has to give back and negative publicity and wait each month or do they get a refund while there is still time rather than risk getting nothingNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. My thoughts entirely! I really don't know what to do. Will wait and see what happens.0 -
Only just caught up with this post and feel sorry for everyone involved what a mess hope you get goods or money back.
Especially those who coukdent afford to replace or get out to buy more pressies.
Unsure if this any help but last xmas I brought a dodgy netbook off ebay in november time. It arrived no charger and had no idea to test if as working.
I tried to communicate with seller and he kept fobbing me off tried everywhere maplins it as nightmare to get charger to fit. Eventually did get charger after xmas from another when it arrived tried to charge some keys dident work was awful chinese netbook called epc i open a case xmas day tried to respond. Paypal closed it after so long.
By time I got charger and discovered it wasent working 45days had passed.
I checked his feedback which was now bad people with same issues.
I rang paypal direct and said i tried to communicate with him he refused refunds said on his page no refunds but can you really take paypal as method of payment if wont offer refunds.
I told paypal woman he was rude i had copies of mail.
it wasent fit for purpose
look at his feedback and she agreed.
They do have the poer to reopen after 45days and make a refund.
I also been on other end as seller rm lost package. paypal refunded and left me with negative balance which I paid them.
What I am unclear about is
with visa delta cards -do they offer same amount protection as visa credit or mastercard?
As there are few prepaid credit cards out there including paypal which I use.
Also I pay by paypal with card funding as dont often have funds in account so much anymore as sell more stuff locally cash than ebay. In this case whos liable paypal or the bank?
Never used uk mail but find most couriers rubbish.
I had problem with dns few days before xmas they attempted to delver I was out went down town to depot where 12 of us patiantly waited while 2men spent ages and said couldent find parcels they seems to have no system and wandered round aimlessly.
Most companies 21st dec as their last guaranteed date for delivery.
As ordered daughters scooter with mini micro deadline was 21st dec by 11am.
I think real issue with this is the payment as you pay upfront for say 12,months worth of hampers but if contracts breached then time has long past for card or paypal refunds.
Are park-very similar type of business? dont they do hampers?
I know there were some safeguards put in place after farepack but unsure if was enough.
I do kind of remember seeing this deal on here-was it on grabbit or martins newsletter? I go on a few boards mostly old style, dfw and food.
I think my thourghts were
wheres the profit? whys he giving 12 free? per hamper paid one at a time is fine but to pay in lump sum couldent have done.
Previous years have made my own hampers and felt confident could make my own for same price or less.
Carboots often have wicker baskets or hampers. The wooden crates you could get from green grocers and paint. xmas pud tends to have long date so buy in sale now for next year and buy some long dates stuff throughout the year 1 item each month maybe and add short dated stuff nearer the time.
I like to buy jams at fairs and support local businesses.
Im quite good at making chutneys its quite easy.
my local farmshop has some lovley treat bits.
make list of hamper items an check whos got offers on each month
Happy new year everyone.Dont let one numpy spoil xmas i understand why you angry and upset.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

Sorry, not been on here for a couple of days but I have just this min had two PayPal notices that they have sided with me and I am getting two refunds (have another two outstanding). Apologies if this is crossing with anyone else's posts but I needed to inform. From what I can see norfolk hampers did not respond.0

That's good news. Hopefully Paypal will come through for some more people over the next few days.0
