I've been Money Tipped!
I'd try what I've done before Court Action LBA etc. Its a lot easier on the brain lol.

The LBA is your back-up plan and would only be needed if the "CLOWN" doesn't refund within 14 days.
To delay a LBA may well delay getting your money back - use the LBA with your request for a refund. He should take LBA's more seriously than a simple request for a refund as he may well incur additional costs.

When ppc_guy posts an email from his "friend" stating that ALL refunds have been completed and there are NO further posts stating members are still waiting for a refund, then and only then can the thread be "expired" and someone can "turn the lights out" - well until another one of his offers appear!!

Please don't defend a company who has seriously let down purchasers - he's ruined many a Xmas for some. He doesn't even deserve credit for eventually starting to refund and this has ONLY happened because it is being forced on him. He'll pay up or face prosecution.

After just getting back from my Xmas break I thought I'd check in here to see how everyone had got on with the receipt of hampers. I asked Neil to the ones I was due up to December (in the 6 month offer that was buy one get another identical deal for £10) back in mid-November so that I could give them as gifts early due to the holiday we were taking - Im so so glad I did but I feel for everyone else on here that have bought deals and not received them in time for Xmas. I am obviously still waiting for the Jan/Feb hampers and I would guess that I wouldn't have a leg to stand on re: refunds now anyway given that I have received 2/3rds of the ongoing deal I bought, even if nothing else arrives.

I haven't had time to read through all the last 100 pages which is I think approx where I saw it up to - but I have had the automatic email updates from Neil that he's been sending as blanket emails, he has obviously handled the overload, that he has brought upon himself by continuing to offer the deals, really really badly and caused lots of distress to a lot of you on here.

I really hope you all get the refunds and/or hampers in the deals you've bought and I'll keep reading with interest to see if those on the ongoing deals do indeed get the remaining hampers over the coming months.

I must say I am shocked at how this has evolved, obviously far too naive but I was sure NHC would honour the deals offered, but this could so easily have ended with me being one of those not to get the deals purchased before Xmas. I will wait and hope the other hampers in my deal arrive, but be thankful I've had what I have to date.
• Hi guys, I've just posted on behalf of us on this thread; if people could 'like' my comment and maybe also post and ask for assistance it will be hard to ignore us (the thread in the link above was actually started very recently by an official MSE guide).

Unfortunately the forum team do not offer assistance they just do whatever is required to keep the forum running.

As the OP of this thread, and the one who took up the request on Twitter to put the deal on here, (with the offer of a free hamper - did you ever get it btw?), could I ask would you recommend this company again? It seems some still would, so I'm just curious as you were the OP and had prior knowledge of the company.

Thanks! :)

I'd be quite surprised if the message doesn't reach Martin, though? I've reported my own post to make sure that the forum team have at least read it, and in the report I explained that this is too important an issue for so many people, for this thread to be overlooked and ignored.
We can but try. :o

I think the one who was offered the free hamper on twitter is HERE and never posted since.

Maybe others were offered free hampers also for promoting the "shyster"??
Any refunds today??

Doubtful I bet. Reply to any email now is tag lined at the bottom of how they will only be responded to during 'normal working hours of 9-5 mon to Fri' so would assume any refunds will only be processed during the same time frames
24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence?

someone on here earlier said they have had a refund directly to their bank as they gave the company their bank details. no idea how as I have sent email after email and filed dispute/claim to no effect. My PayPal claim date is company has to respond by 30th Dec so I feel like staying up until midnight to then see what PayPal do next especially as I really need my money back as it is such a large sum :o

Following my emails to sales@norfolkHampers.co.uk (I think, not sure of the ending).., and reading on here of another person who sent Neil their bank details and getting a refund, I did the same and I have received a full refund into my account today.

Goodness knows, I was in dire straits financially.., so its come in just when it was needed.

I hope others on here try the same thing but allow for the New Year Bank holidays. I did post on here saying what I was doing yesterday and the day before. I hope others have tried the same thing.

Like others, not getting the hampers created problems, but nothing can be done about that now. Can't rewrite the past. Getting a refund was the best possible outcome. I didn't compliment him, I was straight talking (remembering some comments on here) and he does seem to be doing what he can NOW.

I'd try what I've done before Court Action LBA etc. Its a lot easier on the brain lol.

this is the post where someone has had a refund today
• I've been in much the same position as others, I ordered the 3 +3 deal, it wasn't delivered despite being promised that it had been despatched. I emailed twice asking for a refund, I had a reply yesterday morning telling me that a cheque would be sent that day by registered post. To say I was sceptical was an understatement, however, a cheque did arrive this morning. i just need to get it in the bank ASAP! Hope others start to get refunds and the resolutions they want from this mess.
