    totally agree with him
some people can be so vile when on internet forums

With all due respect, there's a simple answer to that. Don't go on them

I just find it a bit upsetting that people are still saying this is an OK company to buy from. Of course it is not as show me the happy customers. And even if I had been a customer whose order had got to me I would still not be happy continuing with a 12month hamper deal after reading that the company has let down enormous numbers of customers. And of course I would not be happy as OK my things had arrived but what about everyone else who has received nothing, been let down, told despatch dates which were not true, told they would be sent goods and different goods then arrive, were not given tracking details and on top of that ignored and not given a refund. How could anyone defend a company who chooses to treat their customers like this?

I would agree when it comes to certain sites yes and there are personal attacks and actual threats made to someone's safety. However, speaking the truth about factual events that have or have not happened is not a criminal offence nor it is 'vile'. Anything I post is based on personal knowledge, experience or fact.

There is a certain individual who needs to stop hiding behind their computer and deal with the matter in hand

I think he has worked out by now he is not. Particularly now that he has been forced into refunding his victims. ;)

Also this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4360963 might be worth posting on to bring to Martins attention

Hi guys, I've just posted on behalf of us on this thread; if people could 'like' my comment and maybe also post and ask for assistance it will be hard to ignore us (the thread in the link above was actually started very recently by an official MSE guide).

They can yes but I can honestly say that I haven't seen anything like that, yes people are angry and have used a few strong but accurate words to describe him/what he has done but no worse than most would probably say to him over the phone or in person given the circumstances.

He has £84.98 of my money and has had it since October 23rd. I have had nothing in return. I have had no reply to emails or been able to contact by phone. My requests for a refund have been ignored. I have seen tweets that this man has made to others which are totally inappropriate and always shift the blame on to others and telling customers to be grateful for the good deal (the one we were promised but did not receive). In all media reports he is playing victim to circumstances 'out of his control' and complaining that customers aren't giving him a chance and bullying him. We are just asking for a refund of the money he has taken from us, I think he thinks we should just say there there never mind don't worry about it.

I agree with you that the internet can give people a false sense of security, but come on! This guy actively encouraged people on Twitter to post his deals on here, and then got his wife to register on here and pretend to be a customer praising the company. Then when the so called deals failed to materialise, he used Twitter to lie to customers about their orders. In my opinion, he has used the internet in a far more unsavoury way than someone who called him a thief.

I really would not worry yourself over idle threats. Nothing will come of them, on here these type of threats go no further than that.

No court in the land will look into it, not least that you have already backed yourself up with enough ammunition from his Twitter posts that would certainly not go well in his favour of this imaginary courtroom he has rattling around his empty skull. Fear not, he is an all texts and no action kind of nobody. ;)

Thank you but i am not worried it was just another one of hes tactics to get people on hes side.
