    Hi there :)

I haven't posted on this thread before, but have been following it with interest, as I placed an order for the 12 + 12 deal at the end of November.

I exchanged a couple of emails with Neil in the run up to Christmas, but no hampers..................until today. I had asked for the initial 2 hampers to be the standard christmas one and the luxury christmas one, and then 2 a month until the end of time....

Well, blow me, a bloody great box turned up early this morning with 8 hampers in it. What's all that about? I should have refused it, but didn't :o. It was sent on the 24th - next day delivery.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry! A right fiasco.

Can I ask, those of you that have received any hampers, did you receive any paperwork with them? I thought that someone had mentioned earlier that they did, but can't find their post now.

    Thanks for posting!!

Did you receive the right hampers and where they what you expected?

Funny how he replies to pcc_guy from this email address though isn't it?

Not sure if this helps anyone, but earlier I emailed a Letter Before Action (LBA) to both of the email addresses we have access to, in the hope that if the main email account is being ignored the other one might be more active...

No surprises I got a generic reply from the main NHCompany address which says:

"Please note if you are contacting us regarding a refund we are working through these and you will be contacted once this has been done for you.We are going to get through these as quick as possible for you.
We are sorry you did not receive your hampers in time for Christmas & we apologize for any upset this may have caused.
    Regards
    The Norfolk Hamper Company
    "

However, Neil did email me from his other address (the one listed on our purchase receipts). His response bore no acknowledgement of my request of a full refund; he totally ignored this, and just asked me to use the NHCompany email instead of his 'personal' one. However, we all know that sending emails to the NHCompany is a bit of a fools errand and gets you nowhere fast, since he has failed to respond to literally hundreds of emails!

Normally I'd respect someone's request not to be contacted on a particular email address if they didn't want to be, but I feel that we've been fobbed off enough. If Neil IS ignoring individual emails sent to the main account, and refunds turn out NOT to be forthcoming, then personally I fail to see why you shouldn't be able to voice your frustrations / requests to his 'personal' email too.

He's clearly not even looking at the NHCOMPANYemail account let alone working through the refunds - otherwise why would he reply asking you to email that address instead when you already have??!!

 lies, lies and more lies

£1 is the minimum capital required to start a company. that figure will be updated yearly upon filing of company accounts.

  • Hello all. Really sorry to hear about all the problems with lack of deliveries, refunds etc. You completely have my sympathy.

I did not have a pre Christmas hamper order but do have the 2 hampers for 6 months deal starting from January 2013 order (ordered on the deal that expired 5th December). From what I am reading here it looks most likely that this order probably won't be honoured; do I have any recourse with this company? Or do I have to wait it out just to make sure that nothing arrives? Could someone advise me please? I paid on my credit card (paid £74.99 with delivery).

    Thank you.

You can cancel your order and ask for a full refund as he hasn't sent anything yet. If he doesn't refund you within 7 days , which is likely as there seem to be lots and lots of people who've also cancelled and asked for refunds, then raise a dispute with your credit card company straight away.

If you've got nerves of steel, you could wait and see if anything turns up, but the track record of this man's bullsh-it is such that you would be very brave to do that in my opinion.

Well so far. he has promised one person a refund and delivered nothing. If only he was as quick at refunding as he was at taking orders.

"Who wants this lovely refund? Only 10 available!"

Has anyone received a refund from paypal yet?
My case is due to be reviewed on 3 Jan, so I have my fingers and toes crossed.
