The reason they can't take a payment monthly is it's a discount for buying several hampers, whats to stop you getting 2 hampers for xmas at less than £5 and then canceled your dd, I think the company is doing this to raise there profile, they will have lots of orders at the moment with xmas at full price anyway which will help tide them over, and there prob hoping once we buy these we'll think they are great and will consider them in future for gifts.

I still think that sweet hamper was a different deal than the £30 retro one, i think it was £50 for it and the galaxy then one of each free, the galaxy one is £30 then taking into account the cost of the basket it was prob £10 of sweets which is bound to be over inflated it's a hamper and teh person who posted the picture had pinched a packet of giant parma violets from theres which i bet adding alot of wow appeal.

I'm still waiting for my email about postage so i can start picking my hampers :) Also alot of the other £30 hampers show alot of detail in what you get so i'm sure they will be exackly what is listed.

  • Oh well, i get what i get i suppose. Still a good deal (maybe not the sweets one)
I am still looking forward to receiving them in December and will make great presents, just might have to top the sweets hamper up a bit.

I've been posting positive reviews and I'm certainly not a new member to the site! I said to the woman on the phone that it sounded too good to be true and she said lots of people were saying that, but this was just their current promotion. They will have limited how many offers they sell and it would be in their business plan. They obviously sell hampers in their shop and also if they have been at the Ideal Home exhibition they would have received more orders. Why would they do this just to go bust? It's a way of generating more customers as people who receive the hampers and are happy with them will then use them in the future. Also they will tell friends, families and colleagues about them who will then use them. It's a very good offer but sustainable. They have the money up front but so do other companies with annual subscriptions. I am going to support this company until they give me reason to doubt them.

I have ordered the 2 hampers a month deal.

Do we have to contact the company to say what hamper we want or will they send out the Christmas hampers automatically? Can I have one of the hampers sent to a different address or will both hampers have to be sent there?

I have heard nothing from the company apart from the initial email about processing my order.
  • Well I've given the deal a go and am very much looking forward to the hampers arriving. Agree with a previous post saying its no different from an annual subscription, I have a monthly beauty box delivery but have cancelled that in favour of this deal as will be getting a monthly treat for less than the price of a beauty box. I am willing to take the punt.

My only annoyance with it at the moment is that I have emailed twice in the last two days regarding my choice of December hampers and have not had a response as yet. Hoping if the company owner is looking at this tread the he can get on with the email replies! Therefore still awaiting to experience the "great customer service" mentioned.

I wish I hadn't posted my photos now :( I don't want my photos to be the cause of any grief to the owners, or cancelled orders. I'm very happy with my order for the price I paid.

This is a small company run by a few people and I wish them every success. They are trying to break into the hampers by post market by offering these deals, and I hope they succeed.

We're quite spoiled on this site with grabbits from huge companies that can take the hit when there's a computer glitch or offer codes stack together, or can offer huge incentives to draw us into using their company. This is just a small firm - imagine if it were your brother or neighbour running it, what would you expect for the money you're paying?

I'm a happy customer and will buy again - and I bet that next year my nephews will reminisce about the galaxy and sweet hampers I got them, and hope for the same again :D

Don't feel like that Jellyhead,:( it's not your fault if people cancel their orders, It's lovely to see photos especially seeing how lovely the hampers themselves are.

I admit i was a little(ok more than a little) concerned about the lack of sweets in the sweet hamper(and i still think they should be the same amount inside as on the website) but that is just my opinion.

For the money paid it's still a very good deal.

    I'm a meanie anyway, I think it's LOADS of sweets :D

My nephew will have free rein on it, and will probably eat it all before lunch, then refuse to eat proper food. It's more than enough. I'm planning to sit next to the nephew who's getting the galaxy hamper, and force him to share that massive bar :D
