  • it may have bee me that said about the photo on here when i changed my order of 7 sweets i did not say that the person posting the photo was unhappy though just that other people had pointed out just what i was thinking that the hamper was missing a lot such as all the 100g bags of jellys in the list. I was told mybe the hamper was one of the ones from the deal of 6 that they did where the hampers were a bit smaller but as i said to the owner i was expecting to pick any £30 hamper and as i picked them i expected what was in the list with mabe one or 2 changes but to the same type of thing and i was told that is what happens and that she had no idea why they seemed to be missing from the hamper i was seeing.

It is for less than £5 for £30 it's not as good.

That's the bit i am struggling with. If you purchased just the sweet hamper for the price on the website £29.99 and you got that amount of sweets i think i would send it back. Ok so you have to take into account the cost of the hamper but even so WHERE ARE ALL THE SWEETS?
You sure you didn't eat them all first Jellyhead :rotfl::rotfl:

I am just worried that as i ordered them as part of a deal i am going to get pretty much the same as jellyhead has got (minus all the ones she must have scoffed :rotfl::rotfl:)

I want what was shown on their website!

so if we order the £30 hamper we'll get whats on the picture on the website/whats listed on the site except for possibly subsitutes of similar amounts? was she reasuring enough that your still ordering a sweetie hamper?

i changed 3 just incase one to a Retro Jellies Sweet Hamper incase there are no jellys in the 4 i get and 2x galaxy as they looked so good.
But i do think she was being truthfull she sounded upset that so much seemed to be missing compared to the list but untill they get here in december i will not know. Also both her and her husband have told me on diffrent calls that they are band from coming in to mse i did ask how they can do that as they must be able to at least read the posts but they say no.

the customer service is amazing they were really easy to talk to and happy to help i also ordered 3 x Small Cadburys Hamper 3x Medium Cadburys Hamper 1 x Galaxy Chocolate Hamper making it 14 befor christmas and the other 10 in jan( i orderd befor the change)
  • I DO think they read this thread. I know if i owned a company and people were posting on a forum i would definitely want to know what was being said.:rotfl:

Maybe you should pop them an email Jellyhead, i know you say you are more than happy with what you received but if they seem shocked that so much was missing maybe it is just a slip up on their part. It seems as though you should have more in the sweet ones.

I'm sure they are banned from posting (i think they posted without premission) but i'm sure they can still read unless mse really don't like them and blocked there ip i very much doubt it, maybe they got told off and took it to mean they can't even nosey, which is a pity when they are getting such good reviews.

Maybe the person packing jellyheads got the munchies :rotfl:

I think i'll still get some retro sweetie ones, i'll have to pinch the bubblies lol

  • i know someone from mse called the police on them as when i was making the order i had questions after seeing some people say the deal was to good to be true and the husband was telling me thats how he found out that he had been put on here with a call from the police as someone thought they were a dodgy business trying to con people so did there duty paypal put a hold on there money for 4 weeks and they were investigated and cleared i think they are trying to be as transparant as they can to show that they are just a normal family trying to restart a business after a family illness.

I still can't help but feel shocked at the lack of contents in the sweet hamper, kinda beginning to wish i didn't order the treats deal now (2honey, 2 christmas basket and 2 sweets)

I honestly thought i would be getting the same as what is shown in the sweet hampers on their website(and i think you should get what is shown, or at least the equivalent)
It would begin to explain how they are able to do it. Showed my partner the photos incase it was just me being picky and he too was gobsmacked that that is all you get, no 100g of anything. Just about £4's worth (if that) much much less than is shown or listed on their website.:(
Why not email them and find out whether you can expect to receive the same contents & quantity as listed on the site? Seems to make more sense than panicking - it was potentially a mistake / oversight on whoever was packing the sweet hampers that day, & if the one lady who posted photos never contacted them to query it, then the company wouldn't have been given the chance to put things right?
