i dont believe that there are as many upset customers to pleased customers as u suggest
yes maybe 60 upset on here but surely he must have taken 1000+ orders
Regardless how many upset customers he has, for a good business 1 upset customer is 1 too many!!

Really sorry for those who have not got their hampers but some have and are really pleased with them. This company appear to have taken too much on. It's a great shame all round.

i cant see contacting all these people will help
they have already shown to not have put a bad light on the compay and surely if that many people were upset there would be a massive write up about him spoiling xmas for xxx
With the greatest respect you have your hampers, more than 40 people on this thread alone don't. That deserves a 'massive write up' in my eyes. There doesn't seem to be 40+ refunds coming that easily!

'some' being the optimum word. If we thought it was a lucky dip when we ordered he wouldn't be in this predicament now.

I dont think its a shame all round at all. Its a shame for the folk that paid good money and got nothing. While NHC have through sheer greed let then down.
What does it matter how many, to let down even one, is one too many.

Would you be as understanding if you were out of pocket, and no gifts to give.

I've just been reading this, & feel really sorry for all those people who appear to have lost out here. I had some unsatisfactory dealings with this guy earlier in the year; I ordered the picnic hamper 6+6 hamper deal for about £80, and had problems with delays of the first delivery, and lots of hassle chasing him up. He then delayed the subsequent ones on this deal, so I asked for the 2nd (Thorntons) ones earlier than this, so that I'd at least have the 4 hampers before my Paypal 45 day limit. They arrived eventually, later than promised (he was good at promising, bad at delivering even then!) - & with lower value contents than described, with about half the contents either out of date, or almost out of date. This was after he'd said on Twitter that everything had at least 12 months shelf life! I complained immediately, and he said he would refund me. The refund came through on Paypal as a delayed refund, which then failed, apparently as he said he didn't have enough cash in his account - which seemed pretty unbelievable for a competent business. I got the refund eventually, but he did get very nasty about it. Funny how he was so nice at first.
I didn't post this as a bad experience, as he DID refund me. I feel sorry now that I didn't warn people........

Presumably if it IS only 60 upset customers, then it shouldn't be too for much him to refund. A drop in the ocean. I'm not convinced.

i think this guy is genuine just took too much on or his suppliers didnt have enough stock for the orders he took on.
i got my order yes a week late but they are lovely

Would you be as happy if you hadnt taken delivery of your order? Easy to say yes knowing you are not out of pocket isnt it.

I am glad you were one of the lucky ones, but there's people here that through not fault of their own havnt.

Genuine guy? Dont make me laugh. A good business person covers all their bases, which this guy hasnt.
