Really sorry for those who have not got their hampers but some have and are really pleased with them. This company appear to have taken too much on. It's a great shame all round.

I is dreadful and stressful for those who he had taken advantage off. With he newspaper reports I can't see him being in buisness much longer as people won't trust him

Has this guy (or his family) run previous businesses? (He implies experience on his website, but I don't believe anything written on there!) What happened to them I wonder? I'm just thinking there may be some history of poor business sense........

I actually had a hunt around online using his name before going near them ( trying to make sure they were legit.......should have listened to my gut:mad: !). I couldn't find anything remotely suspect about his name.........but that's not to say old businesses were in his name.....could have been in his wife's name......and I didn't know her name to check.

I know the company blurb says they were out of the business due to ill health........wonder if it was stress induced if this he happened before?
Living in hope that they will sort it all out but it's not looking very good is it?
I think if people STILL don't have anything by Monday.......everyone should get back in touch with Norfolk trading standards en masse to let them know all these sat/sun deliveries have gone astray somewhere!
:rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. First rule of acting: Whatever happens, look as if it were intended.;)
Don't follow in my footsteps, I walk into walls:smileyhea When in doubt .............mumble.
I may look busy, but I'm just confused.:T I smile because i have no idea what's going on.:rotfl:

i cant see contacting all these people will help
they have already shown to not have put a bad light on the compay and surely if that many people were upset there would be a massive write up about him spoiling xmas for xxx

It would be a great help here should be an article on one of the national papers on it

Done. Even if this figure gets beyond 60, there will be many more who don't use MSE. I think it's at least double looking at twitter and FB also

There doesn't seem to be much on the net to find.
He previously owned the domain: perfect-my-golf.com
He currently own the domains: norfolk-hampers.com & suffolk-hampers.com (has not set up a website for the latter though).

Other than that it is all personal info such as home address/phone number his wifes name, how long he has lived in his current house, some info suggesting he has an interest in watching & playing golf etc... There is nothing obvious to suggest his or his wifes former business experience.

IMO I would imagine you can still shop and pay for next day delivery. There was a tweet yesterday from someone who ordered on 12/12 so even whilst in the middle of the fiasco orders were being taken along with hard earned cash!

I'm sure I read on an earlier post that he claimed not to be taking further orders until he had cleared this backlog? If that is the case I wonder if another complaint to trading standards would be in order on the basis that they can then see he is blatantly lying.

Everything else might be able to be dismissed, but if he has stated somewhere that he is taking no new orders And he still is, then that proves he is dishonest.
