So we still have 60+ people just here who are without their orders. What happened to his couriers working fri sat sun and mon? what have they been picking up? LOL surely trading standards have to see what a liar this man is. I hope they throw the book at him and he never starts another business again.

I have not added myself to the list as I did receive 2 hampers on Friday. However, they were not the Xmas ones I was expecting, and as I had already filed a paypal dispute and emailed him to cancel the order before I received them, I am still in dispute with him over the £114 of mine he has.
  • I don't think anyone has mentioned receiving orders for a couple of days now.

Very nice holiday that we are paying for. Count is at 59, if you include me as I can't thank myself that's the 60.

I am £85 out of pocket so assuming that is the average then that's £5000 from just us.

Plus there are at least 2 people who've said friends have ordered, and then those with more than one order, and that's without those who aren't on MSE or Twitter. So he's lied to Trading Standards about how many orders are outstanding too.

This has really made me

63 confirmed; with each person waiting for at least 2 hampers and some waiting for 6 etc. So that's about 200 hampers.

Add another 30 MSE members who haven't been on the thread yet. Now we're up to 300 hampers.

Add non-MSE members who saw the offer on here (there are always more 'guests' on forums compared to registered users). So we can AT LEAST double up to 600 hampers.

Add another couple hundred for Ideal Home Show customers and those who joined via Twitter.

In reality, I reckon he's just shy of 1000 hampers.

    :(

If that's the £30 Christmas hamper I'll be receiving then I'll be complaining.

The wooden tray is worth £5 on their website: http://www.thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk/wooden-tray-709-p.asp

(And that's assuming you were sent a large one!)

The jams look like the smaller pots, the cake looks tiny and the Christmas pud is the smaller size too! RRP is probably £10 for the whole lot. So where is the other £15 worth of goods?

Also how can Christmas hampers have such a significant difference in contents?

xSuziex received the following (thanks for the pic):

    8294512679_dcecd7b650_c.jpg

Now as far as I'm aware, they're both from the 12 + 12 deal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

How can a business treat customers so unfairly?

(Not having a go at xSuziex or anyone else who has received their hampers as advertised; just find that it's awful customer service from Neil and The Northern Hamper Company).

I got the bottom picture in my 6 + 6 deal so it's not the same deal HTH

I think someone (but just the one)did receive theirs yesterday. I'm living in hope that there are deliveries today! Why I would believe a word that comes out of that company's mouth I don't know!

Has this guy (or his family) run previous businesses? (He implies experience on his website, but I don't believe anything written on there!) What happened to them I wonder? I'm just thinking there may be some history of poor business sense........
