HOW ARE WE ALL GOING TO MOVE FORWARD FROM THIS 'EBENEEZER' WHO HAS RUINED PRESENTS FOR SOME OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS?
ARE WE GOING TO STAY POSTED ON THIS THREAD TO OFFER ADVICE TO EVERYONE?
I started the ball rolling with Trading standards/Consumer rights and offered the advice I was given on this thread earlier in the week. NHC told me on Monday (when he answered the phone) that I was the next batch out as they were working through the night, employed extra staff and had 2, yes 2, UKMAIL lorries coming to collect the orders the next day then he was nearly up-to-date with the outstanding orders. He had me fooled!! He gave me a sob story how people were being nasty on the phone and web sites and there was no need for it, people were moaning about the quality and quantity of goods when there are people starving all around the world, some lady measured her christmas cake and it was not up to standard. People were asking for refunds which he was unable to do as he had to pay for the stock from the supplier and if he refunded he would be left with stock. UKMAIL told me they did NOT send out 2 lorries and on the day I rung only had one half of a lorry filled. UKMAIL were getting completely fed up up with the volume of calls taken about NHC although they sympathized us and were trying their best for us. So can someone tell me where we are at now as I have lost a day or so. I have had to go out and try and replace some presents for people I am seeing tomorrow. All I know is: Trading standards visited them and we should get our orders still. Can I get my money back through Halifax? Where can I look for up-to-date coverage apart from this site?0 -

I luckily paid by Visa so I eventually get my money back, it can take up to six weeks, I feel so sorry for those that have paid by palpal and debit card.
I was lucky enough to go and order another hamper from a company called hamper.com, ordered it at 11am yesterday and its out for delivery today.0 -

I've had the same useless email from them.
Arrived while I was doing the disputes with PayPal.
He'll never get through answering all the emails that must be in his inbox by now.
I usually think of myself as being a fairly tolerant person but not now.
Just as well I live too far away to visit the shop/business as I know I would just turn into the most horrible, ranting woman going if I came face to face with Neil. I feel so angry that he has cheated so many people by non delivery, shortages etc & continued to tell so many lies over the past three weeks.
I don't know how he can live with himself. He has no conscience.
Will shut up now before I get carried away with a full, abusive rant.:mad:0 -
