I think I suspected as much as very few people on here had received anything!! Doubt very much if anyone will get anything this side of christmas. Unless they are concentrating on getting EVERYTHING packed then their courier (the mysterious one that delivers on Sunday) will attempt delivery. Not holding out much hope.
    Absolutely disgusted at this company.
    think we all are,
i must have missed the sunday delivery part, whats that all about ?
  • His 'two van loads' failed to materialise then!! How could you take so much money Neil knowing you could never fulfill all our orders, hope you enjoy your Christmas on the back of all our hard earned cash :(

I called UKMail who do NOT deliver on a Sunday so that's another big mystery!! That and the current location of our hampers!!!!

Surprise surprise, if you live local and collect you get stuff that looks like their web pictures. If you don't, you either get carp or you get **** all.

Personally I don't even think the retro sweet hamper posted by the person who collected had more than a couple of pounds worth of sweets in it. I buy those sticks of sherbert from Amazon when they get to aorund 100 sticks for £1.11 delivered.

I did not go for any of these deals although I was tempted, I have no idea what stopped me but i really do feel for all of you that are having problems. The behaviour of the company seems extraordinarily bad. I do hope you all get a resolution.

I would add though that for those of you in the time frame for a paypal claim you have nothing to lose by opening a dispute immediately- that puts a hold on any funds he has in the company account, so just in case he is still selling (and he might be of course) it will mean he knows he cannot get hold of new money and this may put him off trying for new customers while still trying to sort the rest of you out.

The paypal claim window is 45 days and that is rarely ever extended- however, I do wonder if it is worth as many of you as possible phoning paypal to ask about goodwill disputes - if only to bring this to their attention?

There is also a claim for significantly not as described (again a 45 day cut off) and I wonder if those with sub standard hampers could make use of this. It would eman sending back what you have tracked at your own cost, but the courier gurus on the ebay board can probably find a good cheap deal for you to do that.

I am so sorry that many of you are having problems- I intend posting a warning about it on my Facebook shop where it reaches hundreds of other shops and buyers .

so in my mind unless he uses another company we arent going to get anything this side of christmas

Santa may be delivering them on Xmas Eve ...................... hope he doesn't get stuck!!

I wasn't going to post on here as I never ordered anything from this [STRIKE]CLOWN[/STRIKE] Guy, but worried about people actually accepting sub-standard and late orders.

Please, please, don't let him get away with it and get a refund. Citizens Advice and Trading Standards will help and guide you.
Pretty much amazing really reading all this, but even if some of what's happened is even half true, then that's bad.

    Deliveries not as stated.
Goods not replaced like for like.
    Items short.
    Hampers not even hampers.
    Terrible attitude.
    etc, etc, etc.

He's hurt you, but having to give refunds will really hurt him. He'll be left with loads of stock he doesn't want ..................... some of it even out of date!!
He's had his fun, now it's your turn.

Good luck to you all and stick to your guns and legal rights.

Merry Xmas to you all, don't let a COWBOY spoil it!!

  • Has anyone tried Ukmail today to see if they have anything on out for delivery?? Normally there is loads on twitter asking, but nothing there since 16hrs ago, so didnt know if they respond on a sat there, or even if the depot was open to give them a ring again.

In the review of the sweet hamper? Yes, I left the review on the site because I was happy with the hampers and my children thought they were fab (they're not getting one though, I'm so mean!). I probably should have chosen a different username though.

I've found giant parma violets in Mr Simms so I've bought some for the stockings :)

I really fancy some port chutney though :(

I saw port chutney in Aldi last week, £1, didnt actually buy it though
  • My husband ordered the 12 hamper deal for £90 + £5 postage in November (we had missed out on the summer hamper deal). Was sure that the first one that was due in December was to be a Christmas hamper - can't check as the order confirmation only says 12 hamper deal and there's nothing detailing it on the website. I know I can't be imagining it as others have also posted on here that they were expecting Xmas hampers as the first one in December in the 12 hamper deal. Didn't get any indication of when it was due to be delivered or a despatch e-mail. A delivery arrived on Thursday and what we received was the Just Add Cheese which was in an open basket. As these hampers are just intended for us to enjoy and not to give as gifts it's ok as I am happy with the Just Add Cheese basket but it would have been better to get what was promised or I would have been content with an explanation in advance that I would be receiving a different hamper. I wouldn't have known of this thread if we didn't receive that strange, generic email from the company late Thursday night. I am so sorry to read that hampers are yet to be received or are not as described/expected and of struggles to replace them, it is truly awful. I just hope we will continue to receive the remainder of our hampers throughout the year now.
  • I just wrapped the honey hamper for a lucky drama teacher who normally gets wine! Too late to send to the intended recipient. I was surprised when I turned upside down to wrap that these are packed by Blueberry Packaging in Leicestershire!

Just though it was worth a mention as with all this talk of "packing" hampers it seems a bit weird to me!!!
