That's a no then.
From what I can piece together on here and Twitter and especially UKMail's feed, there are still hundreds of hampers and orders unaccounted for. I seriously doubt that they will be seen before 2013.0 -

Not today, but I got one on Thursday. Still no sign of my two remaining orders though0 -
The sweet hampers are about £5 worth of stuff in a sweet shop, if you buy wholesale its way cheaper, drumstucks are in the pound shop for a bag of 20.
Looks like he is sending out random stuff, so people have at least.received something rather than nothing, Sub standard or not.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

I was expecting a 'Christmas' one as well, as part of the 12 deal ...but I got a damaged 'Just add cheese one' which is no good to me at all, not to mention it came yesterday and not in the first week of December!
I wonder if they ran out of Christmas items.
Mine was a 12 + 12 deal, so instead of getting one totally carp hamper I got two, I've also raised a paypal claim and said he can keep the £10 for the hamper club if he must as that's all these two are worth (and that's being very generous), but I want my £92.99 back.
I am one of the fortunate ones who ordered in late November so I'm still in the 45 days, I'll be taking photos as well!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Hello all! Not posted until now, but been reading this thread about 20 times a day as I also ordered the 12+12 deal. I was just about to file my paypal claim when UKmail knocked on the door with my first 2 hampers!
Are they as expected? ...of course not!!
I was expecting 2 christmas hampers, as promised, obviously assuming there'd be christmas cake, christmas pudding, shortbread, brandy sauce etc etc but I have received 1 x Galaxy hamper and 1 x retro sweets, neither of which I wanted and have no idea who I could give these to.
Here is the contents of each (and I do appeciate that compared to others with the same ones I haven't done too badly with the qty in each hamper, especially the retro one but out of all the hampers I wanted these 2 the least as I know I can buy all the sweets in Home bargains or Wilkinsons for a few pounds if I wanted them.
Galaxy:
Eco-pack sachet of hot chocolate (150g)
1 x pack of 5 Galaxy Cake bars - caramel
1 x Galaxy ripple - 33g
2 x Galaxy smooth milk bars - 46g each
2 x Galaxy Caramel bars - 48g each
1 x Galaxy roasted & caramelised hazelnuts bar - 45g
1 x Galaxy bubbles bar - 31g
1 x Galaxy orange & shortcake bar - 45g
Retro sweets
2 x flumps
1 x swizzels dip dap
1 x love heart dip
1 x double dip
1 x sherbert fountain
1 x candy sticks (candy cigarettes)
1 x refreshers chew
12 loose black jack chews
11 loose fruit salad chews
3 drumstick lollies
4 mini packets love hearts
1 whistle lolly
1 giant parma violets
3 double lollies
4 x tatoo bubble gums
6 x sherbert straws
4 sachets of loose sweets, had to weigh these on my kitchen scales
- 53g cola bottles
- 15g spaceships (with sherbert inside, can't remember name)
- 39g pink milk bottles
- 36g pink milk bottles
I am now going to have to go out and buy christmas pudding, cake etc etc and make up new hampers for our parents and being 38 weeks pregnant on one of the busiest weekends of the year this is not my idea of fun!
Hope you all either get your hampers or a refund v soon. Not sure what to do about mine as they're not what I expected or wanted!Hello everyone, I've never posted on this thread before. In fact, I forgot I ordered these hampers - I thought I had changed my mind at the last minute because I was very unsure of ordering. Obviously not.
Today I received a small box, opened it and there were two small wicker baskets! It all came flooding back to me.
I bought the 12+12 deal.
Today I received the galaxy and the retro sweets. The galaxy 'hamper' is a few galaxy bars, a pack of cake bars and a large sachet of chocolate. I could probably buy these items myself in local shops for about £5 if I am honest. The sweetie one is similar, an empty looking basket with a few sweeties.
I don't know what to do. I love the idea of being surprised by hampers every month and have thought maybe they will improve? I also love the LITTLE wicker baskets they are very cute. But at the same time is it worth the hassle? Or the risk that the company will disappear in a months time etc... And as for the two I already have recieved if I keep the deal how would I go about recieving the CORRECT goods/cost equivalent.
I've never experienced something like this before, I have no idea what to do.
I have just read the last 30 pages of this thread and have been sickened, shocked and appalled by the way this company conducts their business. I also really, really feel for everyone who still hasn't received anythingI am in exactly the same position as Zebulette and Chazsucks, was expecting Christmas hampers for 2 couples in their 70s, and have received one Galaxy and one retro sweets hamper. As I said before, I really thought that the default hamper for this month was the Christmas one, unless you requested otherwise (otherwise I would have made sure that I was not sending drumstick sweets to pensioners with false teeth!)- does anyone have any screenshots, cached pages of the deal?
I thought I'd chime in here and post about the 'xmas hampers' I received, one was for me and one for my neighbours, I sent a request e-mail to Neil on 7th December and he said it wasn't a problem on 8th December....

Hardly worth £30 each are they?!:mad::mad: I have been saved by the fact that I have some nice whittards tea/coffee/drinking choc from that glitch and some nice chocolate from the Asda glitch that I have put in a bag to give instead, but I wanted to give them a really lovely hamper as they're such nice neighbours and don't have cash for non-essentials, I'm gutted if I'm honest:(:(

I am one of the lucky ones because I received my hampers. However:
* They arrived 9 days later than promised.
* The packaging on 2 gifts was damaged (but could be fixed with tape and ribbon at my own cost).
* Items promised to me on the telephone (sadly they never replied to emails) were either missing or substituted for smaller or completely different items.
* I was promised (verbally) they would throw in 2 boxes of mince pies because they weren't sure if something I wanted was in stock - not as a substitute but as an extra to apologise but they didn't send any OR a substitute.
* Galaxy Hamper contained items falling way short of those advertised.
I have had to swap bits about and buy extra goodies and have given one of the hampers away as a present. Where do I stand now? Do I just ask NHC to send replacements in the new year? I cannot return them as they were needed urgently as presents!0 -
I found the catch in my received hampers when I went to wrap the gift one last night
The Posh Pop all had a BB date of Nov 12. It won't poison us but can't give as a gift.0 -

I think it's illegal to sell goods beyond their BB date and even if not surely it means the goods are 'not fit for purpose'! :eek:0 -

Hi all, I thought that I might as well add my tuppence worth; I ordered the Christmas special (£69.99 + postage). No hampers here despite promises from Neil. Ordered in early October so way outside of the paypal dispute period. Not sure what to do now as I don't want the blinkin' things at this point, it is all too late and I've bought substitutes. Pretty fed up as I can't afford to lose that much money; I don't suppose any of us can!0
