It was probably removed by the OP then as there were threats of "action being taken" by Numpty Neil at the time.0 -
Here is a thought though, when i first started reading this thread, there were several people who lived near the shop he was trading out of, they were collecting their hampers, maybe one of them could go and check, if the shops open, maybe you all stand a chance at least.
Good luck to all those effected.[/QUOTE]
Hello, I live near the shop, it was closed on Wednesday when I went past and again this morning. There are people in there packing and also some new people that I have not seen in there before.
Hope that gives you a little hope.0 -
I am in exactly the same position as Zebulette and Chazsucks, was expecting Christmas hampers for 2 couples in their 70s, and have received one Galaxy and one retro sweets hamper. As I said before, I really thought that the default hamper for this month was the Christmas one, unless you requested otherwise (otherwise I would have made sure that I was not sending drumstick sweets to pensioners with false teeth!)- does anyone have any screenshots, cached pages of the deal?0

which deal s do you want info for as I have found some just not mine..I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:0 -
Nothing for me today either, and as I ordered in October I'm out of the 45 day window for a Paypal dispute.
I'm stuck in the house with a poorly son so we can't get out to the shops to replace the 6 presents that I'm missing and our family are travelling up this weekend to exchange gifts.
I know there is far worse going on in the world, but I still want to cry. I just feel so embarrassed knowing I will be empty handed tomorrow.:o
It is posts like this that make me so angry with Neil and hes company.People who view MSE come from all walks of life and yes some can take the hit and go out and replace the hampers and deal with the refund in the new year, but some can not and this was there money for Christmas AND NEIL YOU HAVE TAKEN IT.How could you.But remember the old saying what comes around goes around. My advise to anyone who has hampers outstanding be it Chirstmas or the monthly ones ect is to get a refund while you can because by the way he has run the company so far i very much doubt it will be around in the new year.0 -

Golly gosh.
Ive just had Citizens Advice phone me, regarding my form I filled in.
Very nice man, has taken all the details, confirmed it etc, and advised me to write a letter and send it to The Norfolk Hamper Co.
THEY ARE IN BREACH OF CONTRACT
If they state that they will provide goods, and
1- they are not the same as specified
2- they do not arrive when the contract was entered into
3- they do not refund when requested
4- they do not provide goods or services you have paid for
then the contract is actually breached and you can claim against them and expect full refund etc.
OK, hes agreed that we will probably not get any refund, nor goods before xmas, but all the details will be passed to Trading Standards as well.
He has given me a rough outline of the letter I need to send. Basically it is
To whom it may concern
Re: BREACH OF CONTRACT
(Details of order, ie date ordered, price paid, order nos and items paid for and also the delivery date stated at time of ordering)
Then you need to list exactly what has gone wrong, every little detail from lack of communication, missed dates, items not received etc.
Then you state what you want....
I want a full refund by ......
or
I want the hampers delivered in full by........
(he said do not put asap as this is not time limited so need to state an actual date)
Then send to them recorded delivery.
(then wait I suppose lol !!!) He said this is the letter that needs to be done formally if you need to chase through the small claims court etc, and so if I do not receive anything regarding my refund from Neil by tomorrow then I will be typing mine up then and sending out in the morning.
Hope this helps a little folks, they seemed very helpful with the situation, and done his best to advise me on the legal route needed.0 -
