Neil, if you are reading this, if you had been less rude and aggressive I would NOT be taking this line, and if you had been honest and said the deals were over subscribed and refunded us in good time, I would have been more than happy with that.

I totally agree with you! I didn't order but very nearly did so followed this thread incase i would in the future, i think we all know the answer to this!
I can't believe how rude and ignorant he has been to people. He should definately not be working in any kind of customer interface industry, if i spoke (or didn't speak) to my customers like that i would not have a job!!

how many people affected
what i ordered and what they were for ie gifts
how much money i paid
tried to explain the best i could no answer on phone no emails
false promises they were out for delivery
then asked questions about me and my circumstances
she said they had lots of people who had contacted them so others may get a phone call and she is going to try and contact the hamper company

just logged my complaint with trading standards lovely lady called Jodie x ty :A

she agrees NHC are in breach of contract and advises me to send a letter to to them which i shall now do

I assume this means that some people will get theirs before christmas day (which is no use to those who needed them earlier, I know). It's a shame they're not making an assessment of which orders they can fill and offering refunds to the other customers.

As for earlier comments about people who had supported the company previously or brown-nosed on twitter I think they've probably got a 6 or 12 month deal that they need to try to recoup some of the value of, so are hoping that by not joining in the backlash he is more likely to send them something in Jan and hopefully the following months after all this has died down. Selfish I know, but I'm sure people are following the thread with their fingers crossed for everyone else.

Just seen a tweet from someone who ordered on 12th Dec asking where their stuff is. It hadn't crossed my mind even that with this fiasco happening he would be continuing to take orders for Christmas. Beyond shocking!

Got mine today, I sent him an order for two create your own hampers which he said would be fine, I've been sent two teeny tiny choc/sweet hampers instead, not even a preserve hamper or something remotely good as a xmas present, not enough in it for 2 people let alone the family of four I'm supposed to be giving it to, presented really badly too, I'm thinking I might also start a paypal dispute for an item not as described if I don't get a response soon!
