I have emailed the company who run the Ideal Home Show pointing them in the direction of this thread and his twitter feed, and asked them to consider whether they wish to have them exhibit at their events in the future. It might be a small thing but I sure did get some satisfaction when I pressed the send button.

UK Mail have asked me to DM my full address - I wonder if that means I'm getting a delivery?!?

EDIT: They have a delivery for me today!! Does this mean I have the stress of this palaver once a month for the next 12? Could be the new PMT!!

could it be that he has had more orders than expected, and havent got enough stock, to fill the hampers, or is waiting for delivery of stock,
boobed on the prices, so running at a loss?

as someone mentioned here, he should have cancelled orders a while back..so at least you would have your money and could have gone elsewhere for hampers...

has anyone got a copy of his terms?

Just checked with ukmail and surprise surprise no delivery for me today..... Seems doubtful these will be here in time for Christmas now as I believe ukmail are only delivering as a half day on Xmas eve.... Grrrrr

I did it via twitter, UK Mail have been such an efficient company to deal with this week.
Although it is a relief to know at least some of my order is on its way, I do have concerns about continuing to deal with this company all year as part of the 12 + 12 deal, and what my rights are re PayPal etc if I have received some of the hampers but it all goes (even more) pear-shaped at a later stage.
