  • wow! I never expected this fiasco when i ordered all this for 1 bloody hamper.

I really feel for everyone that has done this as presents ect and spent so much money its just awful.

I hate this helpless feeling of not being able to do anything can't force them to answer emails or phone calls, really does make you want to get in the car and drive down to norfolk!!

I was soo excited about recieving this as I have never done a hamper before, now I am dreading it arriving in the new year cos lets face it thats when mine will be here and it will be full of small jars nothing like what was advertised. Worst £50 i have ever spent :(

Sorry for the rant i know lots of people are waiting for lots and spent a lot more money unbelievable.

ps. Did anyone get a reply from martin on this when they asked his opinion? xx
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:

    I had the e-mail too.

"The police have informed me any comments that they find on these sites to be found threatening & untrue action will be taken against these people."

    Does that not mean:
    - the police will be taking action against somebody who has repeatedly lied to the customers, say about desptach dates?
    - the police will be taking action against somebody who has broken the 'contract for services' by substituting lower costs items or not supplying certain items at all (effectively theft) ?
    - the police will be taking action against somebody who enrages customers by the above actions and then makes the situation worse by becoming impolite and aggressive - then complains he is being harrassed (wasting police time)?

I do hope the police take action - AGAINST HIM.

I am so sorry for everyone waiting

I don't know why I got lucky getting correct hampers 10 days ago - its as if you are all dealing with a different company than the one I dealt with

Can only assume he is in meltdown mode having created a fiasco he just does not know how to deal with which is now spiralling more and more out of control. Instead of admitting defeat at a sensible point and working on communication, cancellation and refunds he seems to have thrown himself into a mess of random order fulfillment and pleading for everyone to leave him alone. That wouldn't work at any time of year, never mind Christmas.

It STILL feels more like incompetence than fraud but if his business model doesn't work the end result will be the same

All this "action will be taken" he keeps referring to makes me think if "action had been taken" packing these *%#*ing hampers, no-one would be complaining.

that's something i don't get as we all go on the journey is the randomness of it why some that ordered in August like myself are still waiting and some who ordered in oct/nov have got , how some that ordered the 12+12 deal have them all, whilst some have none
and there are reports some got full size jars some small

surely you work on dates of order received OR types of deal all at once
hes defiantly panicked when some customers have shouted at him and pushed others aside
and from there hes lost the plot and started blaming everyone else for his failings and he still thinks hes doing us a favour by working hard and giving us the goods we paid for

this man has not a clue to who has got what,

I really can't work out if this saga is sheer incompetence or a deliberate con. I realise that not all of his customers are from MSE, but surely more of us should have received our orders by now? Going on the little trays of hampers I've seen posted on here, I reckon I could pack at least 50 of them single-handedly in a day. So over the last few weeks, even once he'd missed the original deadline of beginning of December, there should have been hundreds going out each week. Maybe he's got a cashflow problem and can't get the stock to fulfil orders? - I really can't believe that he (and his 'extra' staff) have been packing 24/7 and there's still so many of us who have received nothing :(

9a)support i think that has been lost by many a long time ago

I think he must be referring to the financial support we have been giving - he's had people's money for months at 0 per cent and unfortunately that support looks set to continue.
