The Norfolk hamper company thread

I have just raised a claim with Paypal for my 12+12 deal and hamper club membership. My first order for the 3+3 deal is unfortunately out of the 45 days time limit.
I have however still raised a claim for the first order as Paypal actually ask you to do so in order for them to protect other users. So PLEASE report the transaction on paypal even if you are out of time. It will all add to the evidence against the company if this does end up being a trading standards issue or even small claims court.0 -
think i will ring pay pal tomorrow and find out where i stand with this
tried earlier but very busy phone lines lol0 -
Have contacted watchdog, I would urge others to do so too, for nothing else other than his lack of customer service, he is so rude, I have lost all patience and I just feel so let down by it all. Normally I would get my money back and move on but it's not that easy this close to Christmas. UrghNSDs 7/20

1I really cannot understand why the NHC and others are talking of involving the police. It really makes no sense. No criminal activities have taken place, the only thing that may have warranted the police is the implied threat from one poster that they would be going round to the shop to get what they had paid for or their money back which was fair enough, but this has now been removed.
Companies mess up ALL the time. Every time I go to Tesco or Asda, I get overcharged or often items arrive late or damaged that I order, but I couldn't possibly get the police involved with these issues as they wouldn't be interested and the very thought is ridiculous.
Don't get me wrong, I know they have behaved badly with the lies and the rubbish they're spouting on Twitter, and by all means pursue a claim through PP or the Small Claims, but please, do not lower ourselves down to the 'I'm calling the police' level.0 -

Great tasting Strawberry preserve 454g
Price: £2.99
yet the ones in the hamper are 227g.......
The ones i got are 340g!
So the tray mine are in is 4pound, and the jams are smaller than the ones that retail at 2.99, so even if you are nice and say 2.50each, it still only comes to 14pound nowhere near the 29.49

Local newspapers have a 'slow news week' around Christmas - it's really tough to get stories because everyone is busy, so they should be glad of something like this.0 -
Just received the just add cheese hamper now 7pm. It is a lovely hamper but I ordered the 12+12. So I've got one of the expected two so my PayPal claim is still in place until I hear differently.0

Did you know you had a parcel out for delivery from UK Mail? Just wondering whether it's still possible to receive something even if they have told you earlier in the day that there was nothing for your postcode. TIA0
