  • well - surprisingly the lovely person at UKmail advised me that there IS a delivery in the system for me - 10/10 to UKmail for their customer service, honesty and speedy responses  I will be feeding back on review sites about them! other companies could learn a lot from them about customer service.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now Im expecting - and waiting for 19 hampers and a load of other bits n bobs. I am thinking of starting a book on 1) if it will actually reach me in time for xmas (if it does - it'll be either a sign that UKmail are beyond fantastic - or down to divine intervention (maybe sympathy cos someone upstairs is also waiting on their hampers! :A:T) and 2) how many of the 19 hampers will actually be in the order! (given the costs to get anything delivered here - I do hope its all of them - otherwise delivery costs to the NHcompany will be WAY more than I paid).

I will post up how much of my orders i actually got and post pics (if I can get my phone to play nicely!). ..........it may however be some time! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. First rule of acting: Whatever happens, look as if it were intended.;)
Don't follow in my footsteps, I walk into walls:smileyhea When in doubt .............mumble.
I may look busy, but I'm just confused.:T I smile because i have no idea what's going on.:rotfl:
  • I need to walk away for a bit - am really getting cross with people tweeting Neil how great he is - top bloke someone just tweeted! What on earth are they thinking! Apart from of themselves! Arghh!

Month 6 - Jam lover Hamper filled with 6 of our best selling preserves (value of £29.49)

I was due two of the above instead i have these two, anyone notice any major differences?

    preserve.jpg

As NHCo sell the preserves you received as individual items for £2.99 each & small trays for £3.99 each that puts the value at £15.95 per tray using their own published prices.
The £29.49 price of the actual Jam lovers hamper on the site is off as well as it would only cost £27.93 to buy the preserves specified & a 12" wicker hamper from them as separate items.

Am so mad right now. Finally got my hampers (12+12 deal) and they are NOT the ones I ordered nor anything like what I ordered. Have received a set of 4 jam/pickle jars (are you seriously telling me that is worth £30?) and 5 jars of very hard boiled sweets that look like the flavours no one else wanted.

I had ordered a christmas hamper - had specifically asked for it to have Christmas pudding, cake, cranberry sauce and brandy butter in and had email to confirm this would not be a problem. The other hamper was meant to be a galaxy one.

No surprises I can't get through on the phone - either engaged or jsut rings and rings. Email has been ignored so far too.

Am so cross with myself for thinking this would work and with the company. Not only did they lie to me constantly about delivery dates, they sent me a tracking number for someone with same name as me who lives in a different town and now they have sent the wrong things. I actually happen to be in Norfolk next week and it is going to take all my willpower to not pay them a visit.

Their twitter now telling us to stop telephoning UK Mail otherwise we won't get sent our hampers!!!!!

Shameful. Is he saying he will withhold them???
  • my first ever mse new to all this I have been tweeting him all day even posted links that I sent to trading standards. To no avail he has now blocked me on Twitter.

It gets worse than that though, the ones that sell individually for 2.99 are 454g

    Strawberry Preserve

    Great tasting Strawberry preserve 454g

    Price: £2.99

yet the ones in the hamper are 227g

For all you jam lovers out their,we have put together a fantastic range of our best selling jams in a lovely 12" wicker hamper & includes
    Summer fruits jam 227g
    Blackberry & Apple jam 227g
    Strawberry jam 227g
    Raspberry jam
    227g
    Blackcurrant jam 227g
    Strawberry & Champagne jam 227g

The ones i got are 340g!

So the tray mine are in is 4pound, and the jams are smaller than the ones that retail at 2.99, so even if you are nice and say 2.50each, it still only comes to 14pound nowhere near the 29.49

I am sure the T&Cs kept changing. What should apply is the ones in place when the order was made, but who would have kept them? Is there a way to retrieve old web pages?
    google cache should have them.
Google cache does not have a snapshot of the t&c page, wayback machine has snapshots of various pages on the site on 4 dates this year but again not the t&c page.
