  • Manchildren are best left with their mummies.

I pointed out at the weekend that he had virtually nothing to show for 34 years on the planet, and asked him what on earth he would do without his Mum. (She is 57 but has had major heart surgery ad isn't in the best on health). He lives with her and drives her mobility car, and she bails him out whenever he gets into trouble.

He had another tantrum and said that his Mum would be around for another 30 years at least, that she needed him there and he was more than happy to stay. Without her he'd have nowhere to live and no car - and doesn't earn enough to provide these things for himself. And where would his Mates be then? These important mates are all just drinking buddies.
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be
