I would without a seconds thought because the vast majority of Pakistanis would see it for what it actually is, a joke and they would know I'm not being racist. I'm white and would have no problem with a Pakistani telling a joke about white people, for me it's nothing to do with racism or hatred it's simply a joke, nothing more nothing less.

:T exact same answer here, I would have no problem whatsoever saying that joke infront of Pakistanis as its obviously not racist or showing hatred. I have said this in other posts, people dont have common sense anymore, they cannot think for themselves. They hear a joke with a foreign twist, and automaticvally, THATS RACIST!!!! Hold on, did you even HEAR my joke??? Worrying there are people out there like bitemebankers. Doesnt know what racism is obviously.

I've been to several corporate events where the room has been mixed and jokes like that have been told and appreciated by all sides.

As long as you are fair with it, dish it out to all

What do you call a Russian who delivers fizzy drinks?

    Droppa Bottleapopov

    Then no harm at all.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

I have just thought of a very very very poor joke:

What do you call an Australian Black Sabbath fan?

    Ozzy Osborne

    Is this racist?

I'm offended by the sheer poor quality of them.

    :p

  • The number of people offended by racism is generally far outweighed by the number of people ready and willing to be offended on someone else's behalf.

Ahh, I didn't think it would take long before one of you wheeled out the well-worn "We were allowed to be racist years ago" defence.
    Lame.

Absolutely completely not the point of that post at all - ironic :T

it, like the entire contribution was to explore the issue, even laugh,as we were invited to do then and are being invited to do so now, except this time from the perspective of the Asian.

The formal greeting to other Asians in the Mosque, yet the " Hi Dave" to the white English Mosque manager and convert to Islam works on several levels.

But complete plebs screamed " racist", as you have done at the slightest and imagined provocation.

So you wouldn't be annoyed if you were told to take your christmas lights down from your house because it offended a non-christian up the road? I bloody well would be! Sorry if that makes me racist...

You mean like certain local Councils ( both of mine) that no longer have Xmas parties but, to be inclusive, have

"Annual training and team building days" in December... :D
