  • The Abbey had until yesterday to answer my court papers, I've just got off the phone to the court and they say that Abbey didnt respond. The court has told me to fill in the request for judgement form and perhaps seek legal advice. Im getting worried I may have done something wrong.

I asked what would happen after I sent the form in and was told it was dependent on the judgement. Anyone any comforting words?

To be honest I wouldnt. It might be worth haggling with them a bit for more if you really dont want to go to court though.

    XOXOXO
  • stick to your timescale. If you have given them 14 days, then stick to it. If you have sent them a list of your charges the next letter is the letter before court action.

After reading through this website I decided to try and claim back my charges.(they amount to over 5000)
On Saturday 31st March I sent the first template letter recorded delivery.
Today I received a letter back not saying no but telling me it has been passed to an Andrew Nanson Business Manager of the Complaints Dept.
This isn't something I expected,is it a good or bad sign??
    Any advice will be great.
    Thanks xxxx
P.S It also says they will be in touch within 28 days,is this acceptable??
