They were called microdrives. I still have a few around somewhere.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Nobody has mentioned 'Elite' yet!!! First out on the BBC and then I had it for my Ammy CPC464 spent days nay months trading in space to get to that status!!! Another clone of it was Interdictor Pilot which was less well known and nobody on here bar me probably knew of it!! Ahh fond memories of loading the tape and then going downstairs to watch Dangermouse or Tarzan on the tv to return and find the read error b message.... lolHappiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

Kick Off 2, Sensible Soccer, Rainbow Islands etc0 -
Elite was the best game on the BBC for me and the Level 9 text adventures kept me away from a social life for ages.0

yeha i had a acornsoft aswell and remember the text adventures, there was a game called boulder dash that kept me and my dad glued to the screen for ages trying to work out how to get the diamonds without the boulders blocking our way. simple but very clever.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

I will end up downloading some emulators and seeing if the games were as good as I remember, but sometimes the past is best left in the past......0
