My friend got one for her birthday last year and loved it, but it keeps crashing! So frustrating in the middle of Pac-Man...
I'm seriously considering digging out my proper old C64 to plug into the TV, I had hundreds of games! My Dad was a proper MoneySaver when I think about it, he got me it from a car boot for a fiver! Ah memories... Paperboy, Edd the Duck (yes, based on Andi Peters's sidekick of CBBC fame - what the hell is that wombat thing they have now?) and the various Dizzy games were the best.
C64s were great cos you could save your "work" onto a normal audio cassette. And of course I spent hours trying and failing to do the blue bouncing ball program, and the "dice game" program - anyone remember those?0 -
Anyway back on topic, are there any left?0

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. Got one from Scunthorpe Woolies this weekend. Ah the memories.
Anybody in the area who wants one, they're downstairs on the right hand side of the escalators, on an ailse end. There are serveral other similar 'plug into the TV' type games but only 1 C64 left. There is a Megadrive Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder and mega-lo-mania two player game for £10 which I have seen for sale for £25. Mrs Freebies said I couldn't have both, I blame Martin...Do I need it, Can I afford it, could I find it cheaper anywhere else? First answer was no, !!!!!!.Best Freebies:
