    Spectrum was better! ZX!! Whooo

At least the tape player was built into the keyboard and didn't need a seperate tape player the size of a modern stereo!

One game series on both formats: DIZZY! Treasure Island and MagicLand Dizzy was great - pity you couldn't save! lol

    Other Titles I remember:

    - Ninja Scooter
    - How to be a complete B@stard (please tell me someone else remembers this?)
    - Ye Har Kung Fu

    Speccy then Amiga Nut here.

The game you are thinking of is 'xxxx Wizard' xxxx = first name I can't remember!! :D

You was a little green ball with a face, bouncing around, teleporting through pipes and shooting stuff if I remember rightly.

I've been trying to think what that game was for a week - though wasnt it called "Wizzball"??

Beerbelly - definitely remember "How to be a complete B*****" was a big Young Ones fan so had to get it - I had it on the C64 though - same with Yie Ar Kung Fu - but of course the sprites didnt look see-through on the C64 - only joking :):):)

Only the later Amstrad produced +2 model had a built-in tape deck - us old-timers needed a separate cassette player!:D

Oh, that game everyone is trying to remember - Wizball (link points to Wikipedia entry) - I had great fun playing it on my friend's Amiga!

Oh well - I was nearly there - one to many Z's - not bad considering what my memory is like :)

For those wanting a piece of gaming history you could always try getting a nigerian scam artist to carve you a model of a C64 like this guy..

Scan down the page for the pics of said masterpiece, but I thoroughly recommend reading it, its VERY funny!

Go to the letters page and read the "road to nowhere" letters, funniest by far.

Interestingly (well, to me at least!) the BBC.co.uk home page has links to pages celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Speccy - and, for some reason, there is also a link to pictures of the new Commodore...
