No change today altho I have made a couple of eBay sales - only 99p but hey they all add up!
Weather is making me a nervous wreck - wish spring would arrive already lol
Such a pointless post tonight but I did say I wanted to post everyday so that's my goal xxxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400 -
Haven't posted for a couple of days as been abit busy - anyway my hubs has had his first payday this weekend so thats a great help, also I am going to be going from weekly pay to monthly pay soon. Quite worried as i will have to wait a long time for my first pay - eeeekkkk
So tonight I have made a few payments, I paid back the £36 I previously borrowed for our TV licence - also paid £40 to my sister. I have made a payment off the credit card however this wasnt the full minimum payment so will need to pay more next week and I also paid some money off the catalogue, again this is not the full payment so will need to pay some more soon. My outstanding balance on the catalogue also includes £900 on buy now pay later - eeeeekkk this runs out in July (in 25 weeks to be exact) i worked out if I paid £36 a week it will be paid off before the interest is added however I cant afford that so I am going to try and pay £20 off a week (starting today) to help knock the balance down abit!
In the past I have got my catalogue down by doing a payment a day - i got it right down to £99 and then bought on it again - stupid me!! so im thinking thats the way forward! im going to try and do a payment a day and use ebay to pay it off too. Once me and hubs are getting a monthly pay into our bank I am going to start decreasing our overdraft so that should start next month.
Hope your all well and staying safe in the snow xxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400 -
Hope everyone has a had a good weekend. We have had lots of snow here which is has provided us with much (free) fun and entertainment! Last night i came across a challenge on here where you tackle your debts 1% at a time - it sounded fun so thought I would give it ago in order to tackle my catalogue bill so basically the total of my debt divided by 100 is £25 therefore I need to find 100 ways to make £25 and pay this off my balance! each £25 paid is 1% so in order to make my first payments I am going selling on ebay and also at the end of each day i am transferring odd pence into my savings account. Currently racking my brains over how else i can make £25 so all ideas are welcome

Ok in January i started up some spreadsheets, i have just spent the evening bringing them up to date so i can see where my money is going - its really quite depressing as I pay around £650 a month on minimum payments alone! how did it end up like this hey? I could have an awesome house deposit if i was putting it in savings each month!! feeling abit meh about it all tonight - i get such a great feeling when i pay some debt off but then i know it will be about another month before i pay anything else off - boooo xSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400

Nothing to write home about, bit of a sprinkling maybe an inch? Although we live in town so dunno what it's like further out! I heard promises of it snowing all weekend into Monday, and thought I might get a long weekend. No such luck!
I've not driven in it properly yet, not looking forward to the day though haha x September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
&it's rubbish isnt it but at least seeing the figures will motivate you into paying it off
