I've been reading your diary on making a payment everyday. So am i right when i say you pay off any amount you can afford to pay, from one of your debts, even if its a wee small amount?
I paid a 10% amount off one of my debts yesterday. I was really pleased with myself as i still pay a monthly amount too, thats coming up at the start of the next month. I dont dare just pay a small amount is this acceptable with the debt companys? most of my debts i can log on line to and pay a amount that way. This looks like a very good idea and im thinking of doing it daily to reduce the debt... i cant wait till its off my credit file. much love pantherchick xx.0

Did you get a snowday scuff? I did although i wish the snow would do one now - i do actually have a lot of things to be gettign on with at work lol although i wish the snow would do one now - i do actually have a lot of things to be gettign on with at work lol
Pantherchick - I only PAD on my catalogue and credit card as these are the ones where I can log online and do them, i always do this in addition to my minimum payments though - i tend to either round the balance off - or round my bank balance off. Ive never had a problem and did pretty much pay my catalogue off using this strateg although being stupid i then built it back up again I have seen some people on here who make a PAD into a seperate bank account and once its a substantial amount they have rang and paid it off in that way? Ive just started a new challenege on here where you tackle debts 1% at a time! im enjoying it at the moment and cant wait to see the bill go down!
I have an incentive as once we have cleared the catalogue and credit card we are going to try for another baby - eeeeeeep! xSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400

I didn't I had to drive through the snow to work, was a bit hairy at times too haha especially when I got stuck! But all was ok in the end, and I suppose at least I haven't used a holiday up for no reason!
ooooh! ExcitingI have an incentive as once we have cleared the catalogue and credit card we are going to try for another baby - eeeeeeep! how old is your little one now? I'm not allowed a baby while we live in this flat (OH's rule not part of the flat contract haha), I suppose it's sensible but I still sulk haha xx September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 how old is your little one now? Could you imagine if it was in your contract? No pets, no dss and no babies - hehe! My bubs is 20 months old now! Would like to try when she's 2 so got my work cut out! Just spoke to hubs about how we might get the catalogue down and he can do overtime so he's going to look into that (once the weather has improved as he's a driver) only prob is he works opposite hours to me so if he does childcare may be a problem :-/ xxxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400

Haha I have trouble enough with having to hide the hamster in the wardrobe when they come round to do inspections, wouldn't want to be putting the baby in there too :rotfl:
4 months - nice challenge do you have any thoughts on what you can do re: childcare? Would you be overlapping by a lot? I bet O/T would help a lot too! do you have any thoughts on what you can do re: childcare? Would you be overlapping by a lot? I bet O/T would help a lot too!
Oh and I was thinking re: the making 1% thingybob, do you have any talents that you could take advantage of? Like making things to sell etc?September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200

Tbh we have just cancelled our daughters nursery place to free up £170 a month (she was only going once a week and it seemed daft when hubs was at home) He currently doesn't work Wednesday or Saturday so he's going to look at overtime on a Wednesday. We've agreed to keep Saturdays as family day. We have people who could help look after bubs but we only have one car so that's the other issue.
No real talents I'm afraid to say I'm pretty useless lol altho Santa did bring me a sewing machine so who knows... Maybe one day lol
I'm going to check online banking to see what PAD I can make today! Hope you all had a good Tuesday! Good Evening all - it's only hump day - yayyyy!
Not much to report today, made a PAD of £3 which takes my catalogue down to 1504 (the rest of the balance is 0%) I would love to get this below £1500 before my next statement arrives on 2nd Feb (tho with interest it will soon go back over I'm sure ) )
I really need to make a list of my direct debit dates. As I said previously my pay day is changing from weekly to monthly so could do with changing the date that the money is taken.
 Anyway I'm updating this from my phone so going to leave it there for now xxxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400
