            Good Evening -
Well im afraid today isn't going to be very positive as I am just feeling really crappy - urgh!
So I think i'm doing alright with money and then suddenly other things crop up - my main concern at the mo is the gap in pay im due and having to stretch my money. Also we handed daughters nursery notice in, earlier in the month and we thought it was 4 weeks notice but today we found out that its 6 weeks which means I have 2 extra weeks to pay for that I hadn't accounted for
Also, I haven't mentioned this before but when my husband was made redundant we struggled to make mortgage payment so we have claimed on our PPI - anyway policy states we cant claim for the first 30 days, then a further 6 weeks as his redundancy pay covered that (he got minimum redundancy but used to earn more when working due to overtime etc) and then he got his job before christmas so once it was all completed we actually only received half a months worth obviously better than nothing but we needed 2 cover 2 months. obviously better than nothing but we needed 2 cover 2 months.
My OD is out of control and im angry because I want to slowly reduce it - every time i extended it this was done online in a matter of seconds, yet when I want to reduce it it says you cant do it online and that you have to either call a number (thats not freephone) or go into branch, which would be okay if I had one in my village but I don't - urghhhhh
 So all in all im just feeling really stressed! xxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400

Happy Saturday! It's a snowy one here AGAIN!
Payday was yesterday and we paid £100 off the credit card and I made a £3 pad off the catalogue taking the balance to below £1500 altho this will increase again with interest - boooo Also paid £20 off the 0% catalogue. altho this will increase again with interest - boooo Also paid £20 off the 0% catalogue.
My husband arranged for us to go out tonight which I didn't want to do as we simply can't afford it - luckily it was cancelled so we didn't need to make excuses :-/ I live for the day that I can agree to a night out without worrying about the exspense involved! Hubster is also doing overtime today. We did originally agree that Saturdays would be family time however beggars can't be chooses and all that and we so need the extra money.
 Hope you all have a good weekend xSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400

Well I can not believe this weather, we had heavy snow on Friday, thunderstorms last night and today the sun is shining and all the snow has thawed! Crazy!
Anyway I have made a £1 PAD off the catalogue today (every little helps) will also be paying the council tax later today once I have transferred some money over. I need to get online later and update my spreadsheets. I get my last weekly pay next week then it's the long wait till I get my first monthly pay - I'm dreading it!
Hope everyone else is ok and busting the debt! URGH to Mondays - didn't fall to sleep till gone 1.30am this morning and then I was up at 6.30am for work - so so tired anyway managed to pay £1 off the catalogue today. Also hubs has been busy as we cancelled sky before Xmas yet we have been charged the basic package rate for jan and again for feb so he's rang and sorted that and we will be getting a refund! Also he noticed he's been paying £5 extra on his mob bill so he has queried that and turns out that they accidentally added a 'bolt on' onto his phone package so that's another refund winging its way to us. anyway managed to pay £1 off the catalogue today. I've been joining in with the 1% challenge and so far I have paid 2% off my goal debt. I'm going to try and sit down tommorow and calculate a realistic debt free date. I spent some time reading the honour roll yesterday and it really encouraged me but for now I'm going to have an early night! I'm pooped! So I managed to calculate a debt free debt of April 2015 which means I will be debt free by 30 would ideally like the debt gone before then but don't want to put too much pressure on myself. No pads made yet but will have a look at what I can afford later this evening as need to pay the mortgage. Bought dd a kitchen for her day at the bargain price of £12.50 so I'm chuffed with that would ideally like the debt gone before then but don't want to put too much pressure on myself. Feeling abit like I'm talking to myself most of the time however I'm determined to stick to my diary. I've been a on an off member since 2009 and have learnt the only way to stay motivated is to keep coming on here

Today we paid £50.06 to Wescott. I lost track of how much we owe so think I will get hubs to ring and see. Also going to pay the mortgage later. Not much help happening now until I get paid on Friday!

            Its the weekenddddd!
So I made a list tonight of my outgoings between now and the 15th (hubsters payday) and my bills come to £262.00 this does not include shopping and diesel. The sad thing is I only have £100 in the bank (as i have said previously I am in the process of going from weekly to monthly pay) so the plan is to use the CC to do a grocery shop to cover the two weeks and to also fill the car with diesel (feel sad doing this but needs must) and then for the remaining £162.00 - I am going to have to see if family can help me, if not then i may cancel my direct debits and wait for them to write to me, will also see if i can change any payment dates till after the 15th. We should have done this alot sooner tbh (stupid us!)
Also i paid nearly £100 in o/d fees today - I could have cried, i checked the terms of the o/d as it was my understanding that the fees were £2 a day anyway i have learnt that the fees for £3000 plus overdrafts is £3 a day - im so gutted. Hubs has said we need to make this our priority as its crippling us more than anything else. We hope that once our pays become regular and we have a 'significant' amount going in at once each month we can phone up and reduce it. We want to break it down into mini goals to try and make it a little less daunting with our first goal being £501 this will take us below £3000 which will make the feels £2 a day.
In other news I have been searching the site and found the flylady thread and also a new moneysaving mums forum which I plan to post on each day. I am so unorganised and keep moaning about the mess my house is in when really im the only person who can change that so heres hoping i become a more organised wifey and mummy!
